Darwinists believe that language evolves, and to a certain extent it did and still does. Look at the English language: It is a conglomerate vocabulary from many languages, acquired from Brit, Latin, French, Danish, Saxon, Celtic, Gaelic, even Indian (juggernaut!) and Chinese (chow, kow tow, ping pong), and many others. Also, of course, every year the English dictionary has to be appended with all the new words that are invented or adopted by the English speakers that year. But how did it ever start! Or evolve?
Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai, are tonal languages. That means that one word or sound can have as many meanings as there are tones in that Chinese dialect. For example ‘Tai Yu’ or the Fu-Jian dialect spoken in Taiwan and Fujian, has 8-9 tones. So depending if there exist that many actual words, a sound could potentially have 8-9 meanings as well. Now imagine that this came about through evolution.
