The Role of Bias in the Origins Debate – Video by Brian Forbes + Powerpoint

By Brian Forbes

I aim to show that any evidence presented to us will invariably take a back seat to the fertility of the soil in our hearts. It is our bias that determines what we are able to see and accept for evidence.

Bias defined:  An emotional inclination to a particular view. Bias will often influence how you accept or reject evidence. Any position that has allowed for human evaluation will include bias. The question is not if there is bias. The question is what does your bias support. …and I can prove it.

Science is supposed to be based in objectivity – raw facts that lead to unemotional conclusions. The scientific method can be traced through:

  • René Descartes – who rid his mind of all bias
  • Francis Bacon – who described science in terms of cause and effect (experiments)
  • Karl Popper – falsifiability

They defined how we can know things without appealing to feeling. They set limits for “science” or knowledge. If it ain’t falsifiable,
it ain’t science. WATCH! Continue reading The Role of Bias in the Origins Debate – Video by Brian Forbes + Powerpoint

Nature “Scientists believe rock fossils could be 3.77 billion years old.” (Not 3.78 mind you!)

Scientists believe!” What do they believe? That it “could be!” Could be what? “3.77 billion years old!” Not 3.76, nor 3.78, mind you. No! 3.77 billion! That is 3.770.000.000 years ago! An awful long time ago when there were no witnesses around to verify their hypothesis.

And what is their “science” based on? Oh, on “the geologic time scale” that is based on “key fossils“, which are dated by the layers they are found in, and the layers in turn are dated by the key fossils that are found in them. Very nifty circular reasoning. But to these “scientists” that doesn’t matter, because their hypothesis is supported by International Academe who has long rubber-stamped Darwinian theory to virtually be a “law of nature” because “there is no more debate” on their “science by consensus” and support of MS Media. Historical Earth Changes All Happened Suddenly! Even Catastrophically So.

By Jonathan the Gray

WHEN DID THIS BEACH APPEAR?

“Jonathan, how long did it take for this beach to form on the edge of land?” asked Josephine.
We paused in our beach walk to bend down and pick up a handful of golden sand grains. I let them pour through my fingers. And what a soft, pleasant sensation it was! As the last grains fell away, I turned to my wife and replied, “Did you know that SANDY BEACHES, RAISED BEACHES, CAVES, COVES, ETC., do not need a long time to form?”

EARTH FEATURES FORMED RAPIDLY

In 1963, the new island of Surtsey appeared 45 miles south of Iceland. The following year a landing party found wide, sandy beaches, precipitous crags, gravel banks, lagoons, impressive cliffs resembling England’s White Cliffs, and faulted cliffs and boulders worn smooth by the surf, some of which were round. (Sigurdur Thorarinsson, Surtsey.  Almenna, Reykjavik, Iceland, 1964) What a shock for our assumptions about dating! (Of course, I’m not talking here about boyfriend-girlfriend dating.)
