David was stunned. He stared at it. Then shook his head. Finally, he looked me in the eye and said, “Jonathan, this iron peg is the greatest archaeological mystery of all time.”
Then he paused, carefully measuring his words: “…unless Matthew’s eyewitness account is true.”
Please read this amazing report of our Jerusalem expedition and tell me what you think.
SOLVING THE IRON PEG MYSTERY
So, , how would you explain this very strange discovery we have made in Jerusalem? It concerns a tomb and an iron peg. Did we guess right – or is there something we have missed?
You see, some very precise clues (for future archaeologists?) were given in the New Testament account of the crucifixion of Jesus in 31 AD. We are informed in the writings thatJesus was crucified:
- (a) “outside the city” (Hebrews 13:12; John 19:20)
- (b) at a place called “the Skull” (Matthew 27:33; Mark 15:22; Luke 23:33; John 19:17)

Darwinists believe that language evolves, and to a certain extent it did and still does. Look at the English language: It is a conglomerate vocabulary from many languages, acquired from Brit, Latin, French, Danish, Saxon, Celtic, Gaelic, even Indian (juggernaut!) and Chinese (chow, kow tow, ping pong), and many others. Also, of course, every year the English dictionary has to be appended with all the new words that are invented or adopted by the English speakers that year. But how did it ever start! Or evolve?
Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai, are tonal languages. That means that one word or sound can have as many meanings as there are tones in that Chinese dialect. For example ‘Tai Yu’ or the Fu-Jian dialect spoken in Taiwan and Fujian, has 8-9 tones. So depending if there exist that many actual words, a sound could potentially have 8-9 meanings as well. Now imagine that this came about through evolution.

Audio recording of Ron Wyatt just before his death from cancer in August 1999 regarding his claim/experience finding the ‘Ark of the Covenant’ and the chamber it was in. Ron says he was told by angels in the chamber that the information would be made known to the world after the “Mark of The Beast” was introduced. At 17 minutes Ron relates what he was told about the 2 tables of stone of the 10 Commandments.Wyatt’s problem started because Israeli Antiquities didn’t want him to tell anyone about his find, but he had already told some people. Then when word got out and people checked with Israeli Antiquities they denied even knowing who Ron was. This is why people started calling Ron a fraud. If you’re going to disbelieve anyone it should be Israeli Antiquities for putting Ron in that position. Ron has since shown proof that they did know him. Click for Interview & Transcript.
