The story of Noya (Noah) forms the basis of Armenia’s Christian religious identity, but in fact there is no recorded account of the Flood in ancestral Armenian mythology until the kingdom of Urartu and later, Christianity. Of all ancestral peoples who left records of their living in the region, there is not one single account of the Flood, which is widespread among other cultures in the region.

The reason for this is simple, if one believes the account of the biblical flood and subsequent regeneration of the human race:

According to the biblical timeline, the Armenians are direct descendants of Japheth, one the grandsons of Noah, whose ark landed on the top of Mount Ararat after the Great Flood. During the deluge Noah’s ark came to rest on the Mountains of Ararat, and his sons and grandsons, whose progeny increased there, had to emigrate to other lands. While some of Japheth’s sons stayed in the vicinity of Ararat, the others went towards Mesopotamia. Haik, who was believed to one of Japheth’s grandsons and the heroic patriarch of the Armenian people, was among those who went to Babylon. Another offspring, Aram, is credited with founding the Syrian kingdom.

“Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah; Shem, Ham and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

“The son of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

“And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah”.

Armenians consider themselves as coming from the House of Togarmah or Torcom. There is a cuneiform inscription that refers to the walled town of Tilgarimnu near Malatia in ancient Armenia. Others think that Togarmah is made up from two words: “take” (meaning tribe or race in Sanskrit) and “Armah” (Armenia).

Of course some of you may want to suspend some archeological facts for a little mythical belief. However, considering the discovery of Troy was pointed to by a story of the “mythical” Trojan War (which is now known to have actually occurred), and the Old Testament has been more and more shown to indicate actual history, perhaps this timeline does not need to be treated so much as legend but as a symbolic representation of actual events.

For example, there was a flood that covered much of the world around 13,600 BC as the world warmed through a tilting of its rotational axis, causing glaciers to melt. The Bible speaks of the mountain Noah lands on as Ararat or Alarod. In the Aramaic version of Genesis, the bible doesn’t speak of Noah landing on ‘the mountain of Ararat’, but on ‘the mountains (plural) of Ararat’. Later cultures called the region Urartu or Arata. These different words describe the same place.

The consequent raising of seawater inundated all of the lowlands in the Near East. Some speculation is made that rather than being seen as an actual boat, Noah’s ark can be considered as a symbolic embodiment of life (the ark of the covenant, for example, existed both as a thing and as an idea–the compact between God and man).

Wow! This was big news! Shocking! Gilgamesh turns out to be more than fiction or myth, contrary to what academia has been pushing for a century. Gilgamesh was a real person and they found his tomb, just as it was said in the epic, built under the course of the Euphrates River! It only got a little mention in the BBC (in One Minute World News) where Uruk – the origin of eponymous Iraq!

NOTE how the BBC says “believed found!” If it was “Lucy’s” bones found over a couple square kilometers, they’d say, “definite proof of humanoid primate!” See, it all depends on what they want you to believe.

In this case the find of Gilgamesh tomb ought to be called the find of the decade or of the 21st century, as yet another ancient literary source (2300 BC) turns out to be historical and less “mythological” than widely assumed. Uruk was the first city? Responsible for most first inventions, like writing, law, education, taxes, love songs, ethics, justice, agriculture, medicine, love and family? Wow, that early?

But inspite of all these proven first inventions, mainstream historians don’t trust Sumer’s own historical writings and denounce them as fictitious mythology without any core of truth. After all they were the immdiate descendents of stupid cavemen and hunter gatherers! And Euhemerism is ‘a bad bad method of doing history!’ For sure!!

Live Science Magazine reported that English archaeologists did indeed discover an overwhelming genetic similarity between the Canaanites of around 1500 BC and modern day Lebanese. They were so surprised! How inane and a-scientific can Darwinians get! We could have told them that fact without an expensive DNA test.

If they had read all the ancient chronicles and historians from that time and onward, they would have easily known and not been surprised at all, that they indeed descended from their patriarch Canaan!, and that not just because “Moses & Joshua wrote about it“, but these ‘scientists’ despise simple Euhemerist explanations!

Uncovered Ancient Forest Forces Darwinian Historians to Admit that “Often Myths Are Real!”

AP Editor: I am glad when Darwinian “historians” write and admit that “mythology”, what we and ancient Greek historians considered true but embellished ancient history, is real! And even though their articles contain mistaken concepts, wrong dating, names  of mythical gods instead of deified patriarchs, and actual fiction sometimes. Yet they can’t help because of their paradigm to stick like glue to wrong Darwinian dating of “10-12.000 or more years ago Ice Age(s)”, which throws history in total confusion. They invoke false non-documented “pre-history” from before 3000 BC until 10.000 B.C.” or even earlier, whereas there was no history then! Their paradigm? “No documents because the cavemen were just coming out of their caves and didn’t know how to write yet!”

Even so, they have to reluctantly admit that there is truth to good old Euhemerism, and that “myth“, and the old chronicles might be true after all! I bet this news also makes Prof. Mike Baillie from Palaeo-ecology, Geo-sciences, Queen’s University, Belfast, very happy, as this provides new tree material to prove his contention that something catastrophic happened around 2345 BC. Nevertheless this article states that a path was built across this erstwhile forest to combat the rising ocean level, “3-4.000 years ago, which coincides very well with the 1500-1400 B.C. recent Ice Age melt that flooded the Black Sea and global coastlines all over the world by 125 M./300 Ft. during the days of King Dardanus, namesake of the Dardanelles.

1.Where Was Atlantis? Sinking Legends!

When most people learn about Atlantis they immediately picture in their mind one island with pyramids and temples sinking below the waves. But is that the correct view? The ‘sinking below the waves’ certainly would be, but Atlantis was definitely not just ‘one island’ as Plato partly described it, because Atlantis was in fact a vast ‘thalassocracy’! (A word that surely stems from ‘A-thalasso’ himself, e.g. its first ‘king Atlas’! meaning ‘sea empire’)

People need to realise that we actually don’t NEED to find that “one sunken island” with an inscripted stele saying “Welcome to Atlantis, the Island!” to prove the historicity of ‘Atlantis the Sea Empire’! Because the earth is full of proofs of sunken Bronze Age cities, ruins, megaliths and what have you, which already has long proven global sea-travel, early ‘sea kings’, and the ‘red-haired giants’ who built megaliths in Atlantis, in Sunda, in the Indus valley, in Jomon, in “Lemuria” and where not?!

Archaeologists Claim They Have Found the Trojan Horse in Turkey

Turkish archaeologists claim a historical discovery as they believe they have found pieces of the Trojan Horse.

According to a report by newsit.gr, Turkish archaeologists excavating on the site of the historical city of Troy on the hills of Hisarlik, have unearthed a large wooden structure. Historians and archaeologists presume that the pieces are remains of the legendary Trojan Horse.

Excavations brought to light dozens of fir planks and beams up to 15 meters long, assembled in a strange form. The wooden assembly was inside the walls of the ancient city of Troy. Fir planks were used for building seafaring ships, archaeologists say.

The Trojan Horse is considered to be a mythical structure. Described as a horse in Homer’s Odyssey, historians suggest that the writer was making an analogy for a war machine, or a natural disaster.

The structure found fits the description by Homer, Virgil, Augustus and Quintus Smyrnaeus. So, archaeologists tend to believe that the finding is indeed the remains of the subterfuge Greeks used to conquer ancient Troy.

Another discovery that supports the archaeologists’ claims is a damaged bronze plate with the inscription “For their return home, the Greeks dedicate this offering to Athena.” Quintus Smyrnaeus refers to the particular plate in his epic poem “Posthomerica” and the plate was also found on the site.

The two archaeologists leading the excavation, Boston University professors Christine Morris and Chris Wilson, say that they have a “high level of confidence” that the structure is indeed linked to the legendary horse. They say that all the tests performed up to now have only confirmed their theory.

“The carbon dating tests and other analysis have all suggested that the wooden pieces and other artifacts date from the 12th or 11th centuries B.C.,” says Professor Morris. “This matches the dates cited for the Trojan War, by many ancient historians like Eratosthenes or Proclus. The assembly of the work also matches the description made by many sources. I don’t want to sound overconfident, but I’m pretty certain that we found the real thing!”
