Everyone else was certainly very surprised as well, perhaps all the more so since on our end, it seemed so sudden. But in There is a God, we find that it was actually a very gradual process—a “two decade migration,” as you call it. God was the conclusion of a rather long argument, then.

But wasn’t there a point in the “argument” where you found yourself suddenly surprised by the realization that “There is a God” after all? So that, in some sense, you really did “hear a Voice that says” in the evidence itself ” ‘Can you hear me now?'”

Anthony Williams has been researching the archaeology of Garndiffaith and surrounding areas since the 1980’s. His friend Dennis Nash was working on a building site as a labourer in Garndiffaith in 1968. Welsh are not Celts but descendants of Albine and of Brutus who was from Troy in 504 BC, and the original people from Surrey came from Syria.

The earliest cultures of the Americas such as the Olmec and the Tiawanaku were dependent on domesticated maize as they developed, for wild maize cobs and kernels were undersized, tiny, selective breeding ‘though having rapidly brought about high yield maize crops.

Circa 2000 BC when maize was being domesticated for mass production in the Americas, to support those living in cities, in the Middle East and southern Europe wheat grew wild which could be easily harvested to support even population centers.

It’s interesting that ‘though the ancient Americans had the wheel for toys, they did not use wheels for transport of product, for lack of beasts of burden (except the llama in the Andes) one could suppose, and difficult terrain, craggy mountains and swamps where sleds pulled by humans were apparently more practical.

On Wednesday 7th November 1917, Flinders Petrie, a renowned archaeologist of the day, addressed the assembled members of the British Academy. He was to present a paper to them entitled Neglected British History, (1) in which he drew attention to the fact that a considerable body of historical documentary source-material was being overlooked if not willfully ignored by modern historians. He drew fleeting attention to the work of Geoffrey of Monmouth and then homed in on one particular record that shed much light upon Geoffrey’s too-disparaged history.

The ancient book to which he drew attention was known to him as the Tysilio Chronicle, which is listed today as Jesus College MS LXI and is lodged in the Bodleian Library, Oxford. It is written in medieval Welsh, and is, as its colophon reveals, (2) a translation that was commissioned by the same Walter of Oxford who commissioned Geoffrey of Monmouth to translate a certain very ancient British book into Latin. It is, in fact, a translation from early British into medieval Welsh of the same source-material used by Geoffrey, and is an answer to all those learned critics who have stated with such emphasis over the years that Geoffrey of Monmouth was lying when he claimed to have translated such a book.
