1.Where Was Atlantis? Sinking Legends!

When most people learn about Atlantis they immediately picture in their mind one island with pyramids and temples sinking below the waves. But is that the correct view? The ‘sinking below the waves’ certainly would be, but Atlantis was definitely not just ‘one island’ as Plato partly described it, because Atlantis was in fact a vast ‘thalassocracy’! (A word that surely stems from ‘A-thalasso’ himself, e.g. its first ‘king Atlas’! meaning ‘sea empire’)

People need to realise that we actually don’t NEED to find that “one sunken island” with an inscripted stele saying “Welcome to Atlantis, the Island!” to prove the historicity of ‘Atlantis the Sea Empire’! Because the earth is full of proofs of sunken Bronze Age cities, ruins, megaliths and what have you, which already has long proven global sea-travel, early ‘sea kings’, and the ‘red-haired giants’ who built megaliths in Atlantis, in Sunda, in the Indus valley, in Jomon, in “Lemuria” and where not?!

phoenicians1A ‘thalasso-cracy’ refers to a state with primarily maritime realms—an empire at sea, such as the Phoenician network of merchant cities. Atlantis was stretched out over and established on many coastal regions, islands, and cities bordering the Atlantic Ocean, named after Atlantis! Many of these islands sank below the waves because of a historically recorded 130 M (300 ft) sea level rise around 1500-1400 BC, which caused massive population migrations, around the same time as Israel’s Exodus. (1450 BC)

Atlantis-location-map600ATLANTIS’ THALASSOCRACY AREA’s MAP!

And so Atlantis is not a mystery really, just because ‘Quackademia’ would have us continue to regard it as “myth”, whereas it ain’t no myth at all, but true documented history! Forget Quackademia & Wicked Pedia! Who needs them!

Diodorus Siculus reported that the “Celts dwelling along the ocean (on the European West coast) “had a tradition of gods [read: deified patriarchs!] appearing among them coming from the ocean” and that their coastland had many “names derived from the Argonauts and the Dioscori.”

ProclusProclus, quoting Marcellus, described Atlantis as seven islands sacred to Persephone, daughter of Zeus, three islands of “enormous size” plus the very large island of Atlantis, sacred to Poseidon, that reigned over all the islands of the Atlantic Ocean. (sources:right click on image below and on view!)

Posidonius, Strabo and Philo all mentioned Strabo-Philoand believed in, the existence of Atlantis and its sinking overnight. Philo said, It became sea “not indeed navigable, but full of gulfs and eddies. In other words, it sank but not so deep yet that you could sail across it.

There are many islands underwater now that, according to this seafloor map, would have been above water before the ocean level rose around 1500 BC. Just look at all the red-coloured spots in front of Gibraltar, the “pillars of Hercules”, that may all have been islands!

This unique catastrophic sea-level rise did not only sink –or shrink– many Atlantean islands and vast coastal regions on the Atlantic Ocean like ‘Doggerland’ now below the North Sea, but in many other regions and oceans around the world as well!

Doggerland! Ignore the wrong dating!
Doggerland! Ignore the totally wrong Darwinian dating!

Thus it comes as no surprise that this global disaster has come down to us in the form of several ancient historical sinking legends, not just from Plato, Diodorus, Strabo, Proclus, Philo, etc. about Atlantis in the Atlantic, or about Greek coastlands and islands in the Mediterranean, but as logic would have it, from other civilisations and nations on other continents around the world as well, like for example the Indian Mahabaratha! As we shall see:

The ancient Indian Vedas and Mahabaratha recount the 1500 BC sinking of Krishna’s beautiful port city of Dwaraka and its seven islands, as well as the submergance of the ancient kingdom of Kumari Kandam in Tamil Nadu!

In between the islands of Indonesia and Malaysia the ‘Land of Sunda’ vanished below the waves (light green color is sunken land!)BronzelandInundated

Legends from the Pacific region tell us that Lemuria or Land of Mu was also submerged, as determined by scientists, whereas Samoans speak of a place called Bolutu, the Maoris of New Zealand still talk about arriving long ago from a sinking island called Hawaiki linked with the Samoan legends.

Why were (are) we never taught these long-known histories in schools?
GOOD QUESTION! Because our “educational” institutions are ruled and historical science squelched by that paralytic paradigm of Neo-Darwinism, where such long proven historical realities as the Global Flood, the recent Ice Age, the subsequent World Sea Level Rise, lots of Pre-Columbian Sea Travel, and hundreds of recorded discoveries of giant skeletons, are habitually frowned upon and denied because they are in direct contradiction with their worn-out faulty worldview!

As such, they are ridiculed, obfuscated, and surreptitiously swept under convenient quackademic rugs, just as the Smithsonian vanished all the giant skeletons it collected!

So, to help you break your programming, here are some more true inundated kingdoms’ and lands’ histories!

2.Who Founded Atlantis? Giants?

The old ‘sea king’ and giant Atlas (acc. to R. Lynch 1611 AD) was the founder of the Atlantis sea empire, which was obviously named after him.

Yes! (If you haven’t learned about the suppressed true documented historicity and archaeology of giants, click on its link.)

The Flood survivors and their immediate descendants were bigger and smarter, and lived much longer lives than their later offspring who never knew pre-FloodPangaea’ and often died long before their patriarchs!

So much so, that their offspring called them immortals and godsand like Gilgamesh-Nimrod, son of Kush (son of Ham son of Noah), went to search out ‘Utnapishtim’ (Sumerian name for Noah) to query him about his supposed immortality, because Noah refused to die until around 2050 BC, 350 years after the ± 2400 BC Flood!

MIND-CLAMPThat’s why, because of their materialist Darwinian brain-clamp, Wicked Pedia erroneously (and purposely!) calls these actual historical personalities “mythological” and ridicules historically proven correct Euhemerist interpretations.  (e.g. Dr. H. Schliemann’s discovery of the “mythical” city of Troy! A real setback for the Euhemerism ‘debunkers’)

Atlas was the son of the ‘Titan’ Yapheth, elder son of Greek Ouranoh, or Noah in Hebrew, or Manu in Hindi! Yapheth’s wife was Asia and/or Clymene, daughter of Ocean, acc. to the Greek poet Hesiod. Like his grandfather Noah, Atlas was a smart astronomer who mapped the heavens, and is therefore pictured as carrying the star-mapped heavenly sphere on his shoulders.

Poseidon_sculpture_Copenhagen_2005Poseidon or SIDON father of the Sidonians!

As his namesake for ‘map-book’, the giant Atlas and his giant relatives like Poseidon (Sidon, son of Canaan, son of Cham, son of Noah) managed already early to map the entire Earth! How do we know that? Because its dimensions were recorded and internalised into the Great Pyramid of Giza built between 2300-2200 BC!

Atlas used trigonometry (a trigonometric tripod is carved on the statue’s sphere in the photo above) as proven by the very correct ancient source maps that were foundational to the known existing maps like the Piri Reis and Oronteus Finaeus maps and others, that show Antarctica’s mountain ranges and river valleys without ice!

ColumbusNOTfirstThat so implies that our world was mapped long before Antarctica was ever frozen over by the encroaching Ice Age which lasted from around 2200 BC until  ± 1500-1400 BC, and so-o-o lo-o-o-ong before “1492 when Columbus sailed the ocean blue!” which turned out not a big deal really!

Chinese ‘Zheng He’ went around the Pacific and Indian oceans with a fleet of 300 much bigger and better ships a whole century before him!
And anyone who has really studied history already knew of course that Ham and sons had “been there, done that, and bought the T-shirts” in the lands of Cham in Vietnam, Syria, Peru, Easter Island, and North America! (and of course Africa!)

And lets not forget the Aleutian Islands where the biggest giant skull ever was found — and of course hijacked and disappeared by the Darwinian Smithsonians! Rats! But at least we still have the records of 19th century New York Times articles proving that info!

Here are the Tumlin Mound Skulls and giant bones find, to verify! The Smithsonian says “they don’t have any records of giants!”
Oh really?! Well, how unfortunate is that? Can we audit your records before you burn them, pretty please? Or are they already non-existant having been obliterated in your bone-grinding machines?

[‘giants’ sources: ‘The Travels of Noah’ by Lynch 1611 – see end of post, or click ‘giant’ hyperlinks!]

AtlasAfghanistanHadda_2So Atlas, and his related giants and demi-giants, the Sea Kings Poseidon-Sidon, Zeus-Osiris-Mizraim, Kish-Cush, Neptune-Naphtuhim, CronusCham, Ouranos– Noah, Jupiter– Yapheth, Titan-Shem, and Isis, Rhea, the Oceanids, Seven Pleiades, Hercules, Nimrod, Peleg (of the Pelasgians), Hades, etc., were already very active sailing and traveling around the world, placing megaliths everywhere to measure the Earth and map the starry heavens, even before the Ice Age set in and sea levels began to drop, which actually may have made the oceans smaller, calmer, and boat travel easier.

Neptune-Remember, immediately after the Flood there were no landroads anywhere yet, across the fresh muddy Earth, and ships were not just the only but the best & fastest way of transport. Neptune (Genesis: Naptuhim!) son of Osiris-Mizraim-Zeus (son of Cronus-Cham!) is said to have sailed the seas with his 33 giant sons, leaving each of them in a different place to overthrow the kingdoms that were already there to bring the world under their own tyrannical rule. Neptune’s most famous sons were Albion, Bergion, and Lestrigo.

aLBIONOsiris-Zeus was dead-set against the Atlanteans’ ambitions. So the giants and their father Neptune took council together and decided to murder their grandfather!

Hercules Lybicus, his other son, was so infuriated by the murder of his father that he set out to kill all these giant sons of Neptune wherever he could find them, as you can read below in the “Travels of Noah!”

Ham’s Giant Red-Haired Offspring

So all the red-haired giant skeletons found all over the world are – you guessed it– the giant offspring of Ham, Zeus, Atlas, Titan, Neptune, etc. They were described as Caucasian-looking giants with red or brown hair, the same color as the infamous and suppressed red-haired Bigfoots often sighted in North America but “never caught!” (At least US authorities never told us that they were!)

chinamummy3Caucasian Red Haired Mummy in West China along the Silk Road

Skulls and skeletons of these red-haired giants were discovered in North and South America: Patagonia, Easter island, Aleutian islands, Hawaii, Peru, New Zealand, in Ireland, as well as along the Silk Road in West China, and many other places.

We at Ancient Patriarchs believe that ‘Bigfoot’ and ‘Yeti’ and other modern giants sometimes seen in the mountains, are in fact the degenerated remnant of these early sea-faring giants, many of whom settled around the Mississipi in North America and built the mounds!

AtlanticOceanIceAgeThis world map of the time of Atlantis is almost correct with its extra coastline lands, except that there were NO deserts during the ICE-AGE due to PLENTY OF RAIN & SNOW!

The early world sailors are referred to as mound-dwelling giants in North America, as red haired “Pre-Incas” of South America, as the Formorian descendants of Cham of Ireland (see Annals of Clonmacnoise), or as the Pelasgians (descendants of Peleg!), and Minoans, and Malta’s Gigantes, who traveled by ship all over Greece, North African inland seas, across the Mediterranean and the Atlantic ocean and beyond, long before the Greeks got established, and they were building megaliths everywhere in the world!

We know even in South America and Japan, because the ancient (Japanese) Jomon pottery is identical with Valdivian Equadorian pottery! Intercontinental oceanic contacts are rampant, but Mainstream Historia prefers to deny it as an inconvenient truth for Neo-Darwinism! — The false ruling paradigm!

Back in the 1960s, the renowned Smithsonian archaeologist Betty Meggers argued that similarities between the pottery of the contemporaneous Valdivia culture in Ecuador and Japan’s Jomon culture indicated that Japanese fishermen had “discovered” America about 5,000 years ago.’ But not only the Japanese, because the Shang Chinese had discovered Fu Sang, which turned out to be North America, and sold or imported Chinese jade images into Olmec Mexico, and dropped their anchors off the coast of San Diego California!

All the above PRE-Incan red-hairs were most likely the offspring of the “immortal gods” who populated Atlantis! Then when Atlantis sank under the sea, their Atlantic offspring turned into the displaced mysterious “Sea Peoples” who tried to take over Egypt and Greece, as Solon had learned from the Egyptian priest of Sais, except that he and thus Plato got their dating wrong! And Maia’s offspring became the Mayans who settled in Maiami (Miami) and N. Mexico as well.

Somehow Plato got the dating of Atlantis wrong when he reported that it existed 9000 years before him! Did he add one zero too much by mistake? Unless… –and I wouldn’t put it past them Darwinians!– some true history deniers somehow added an extra zero to the 900 years in the original document! They’ve been known for many sordid hoaxes (think Nebraska and Piltdown man, etc!) throughout their 150 year odious career!

These below are most likely the skulls of the giant red-haired Sea Kings who settled Peru long before the Incas ever got there. Their later offspring had the practice to bind of their children’s skulls with straps to make them elongated to make them look more “noble” like the Sea Kings and the Egyptian patriarchs?

These were not “extra-terrestrials”, as spinning New Age historians like Erich Von Daniken, childress, et al, like Ancient History Net and History Com believe, and even Richard Dawkins, last we heard, relocated the species’ Evolution problem off-planet to other galaxies!

But these skulls are now undergoing genetic tests to see if they are descendants of the Nephilim, the giant children of the rebelling demonic watchers/angels/Elohim, as described in Genesis 6.

This giantess below was not an Amazonian if she was reportedly found in the Andes mountians in Peru, but a female giant descendant of the early post-Flood red-haired giants who traveled all over the world and built megaliths. We wonder if that mummy still exists after that museum closed shop. Did the Smithsonians buy it up again?

3.Why Did Atlantis Sink Below the Waves?

The true, one-and-only, unique Ice Age did not happen 8- or 10- or 20.000 or more years ago, as even so-called ‘alternative’ crypto-Darwinian historians (like Graham Hancock) erroneously surmise. We know for a certainty that the Ice Age took place much more recent than that, because huge ice-caps on Northern lands while men and animals survived in hotter southern regions, could only have been the direct unique result of a 10-15 degree  Celsius hotter ocean heated by the global volcanic tectonics of the ± 2400 BC Flood!

The heat caused the sea water to evaporate into more heavy cloud cover, more rain and northern snow! As a result the sea levels went down 130 M. Continual snowfall in the Northern hemisphere stacked up into miles-thick ice caps in North America, Northern Europe, Northern Asia, and on top of the Alps, Himalayas, Andes & Rocky Mountain ranges!

These were such severe rains that they even eroded the pyramids and the Sphinx, as Robert Shoch and J.A.West proved, and turned what is now the Sahara desert.. into fertile cattle-grazing lands, lakes and rivers! Below is an example of the 2000-1500 BC rock art found in the Sahara, which was then cattle grazing land acc. to research by Sapienza University.

FrisiansThat is probably where the sea-faring Frisians (see: Oera Linda Book) bought -or rustled! – their black and white “Frisian” cows they shipped back to the Netherlands! (see above picture!)

On the right is a graphic describing the Frisian account of the sinking of Dogger Land under the North Sea according to the Frisians, although their Oera Linda Book dating for the sinking of ‘Verdronken Land’ (Drowned Land) is 700 years too early (2200 BC) than the more likely proven date of ± 1500 BC. You can see the Rhine & Weser rivers’ courses mapped and emptying out between England and Scandinavia, what is now the North sea.

This gradual cooling of the oceans to present day temperatures diminished and even halted those strong frequent rains and heavy snow, causing the very droughts and veritable Climate Change that triggered desertification and the 1200 BC Bronze Age Collapse! (Source: Seeds and aridification study by Israel Finkelstein Langgut et al. Nader Inst. Tel Aviv Univ.)

IceAgePackWall-300x169The oceans cooled down enough to lighten the heavy cloud cover — like the darkness described in the Egyptian Merneptah Stele — stop the heavy rains and snows, which resulted in the aridification of Central America, the desertification of North Africa, the Middle East, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Northern India’s Indus Valley, central America and other places which received much less rain! See map:

IcepackmeltBut not only that! It also melted the ice caps on land, causing the end of the Ice Age! In fact the Ice Age ended because its unique hydrological mechanism which caused the 2-3 KM thick ice caps on land, came to an end!

The kilometers thick ice cap began to melt and melt, and caused the ocean levels to rise dramatically by 130 M or 300 ft. causing not just the sinking of the Atlantis sea empire, but the sinking of Dwaraka, Sunda, Lemuria, Mu, plus many other places around the globe, like the Yomon culture Yonaguni structure off the coast of Taiwan & Japan, and more than 15 other known sunken cities and ruins, now underwater! We’ll discuss those later in this article.

Jim Nienhuis, whose research I give credit for much information and insights, wrote about sunken cities and ruins, the following tongue-in-cheek observation:

“The BBC Asia back in 2002 enthusiastically reported the ruins of a submerged city on the seafloor ninety miles from shore in water a hundred feet deep in the Gulf of Khambat off India’s northwest coast, the proof side sonar scans of what has been described as a granary, a public bath, a temple, at the center of an urban area of regular spaced buildings’ foundations, said to be five miles by two miles in extent.
When the BBC and many others were reporting the discovery over a decade ago, they hadn’t gotten the memo that submerged ruins prove the Ice Age ended much later than they want us to think, which is why we’ve heard not a peep about it since, the media having gone into Sergeant Schultz mode, “I see nuthink!” Ha!

Critias(We’ll deal with Plato’s incorrect 9000 years dating which neo-Darwinian Graham Hancock uses to prop up his 12.000 BP Ice Age, sufficiently in a minute, at the end of the post)

Plato makes mention of “many great deluges” or floods that have taken place during the “9000” years, and he remarks that in that time hardly any soil eroded “coming down from the mountains,” — because the heavy rains had stopped! — “but that — instead— the Earth has fallen away all around and sunk out of sight!
IbnZAra-Hapgood-Map(1)He talked about the submergence of land all over the place which caused the lands to shrink to “the mere skeleton of the land being left.”

Greece suffered many recorded floods like.. the ‘Flood of Ogyges’, the ‘Flood of Deucalion & Pyrrah’, the ‘sinking of Helike’, the ‘tidal wave’ that killed many on the island of Samo-Thrace coming from the Black Sea, which itself also had a flooding of the original coastline as well!

One can easily see from the ancient map of Ibn Ben Zara how the Greek islands were bigger and more numerous than at present. But this map is but one of many sources we consulted to prove that the coastal submergance of Greece which happened to sink Atlantis and many other places as well, really took place around 1400-1200 BC! NOT 12.000 – 20.000 years BP!

4.Where Did ‘Atlantides or Atlantioi’ Come From?

Herodotus421BCHerodotus who died the very year — ± 425 BC — when Plato was born, about a 1000 years after Atlantis went down, wrote about the ‘Atlantioi’, that they were people living in the shadow of the Atlas mountains in North Africa before Plato even wrote his dialogues on Atlantis! So Plato must have heard about this tribe which he supposed had been vanquished nine thousand years previously?
See the yellow names on Herodotus’  map below mentioneing the Atlanteans around the Atlas Mountains & Triton Sea.

Founder of Atlantis King Atlas fathered by his lover Pleione, the Oceanids also called the ‘Seven Heavenly Sisters‘ or ‘Seven Pleiades’ as they clearly were the daughters of Pleione! It appears that they were born in Attica Greece!

[Pleiades has nothing to do with Wicked Pedia’s inane editor notion – without source – that it came from “sailing?” instead of their mother Pleione. Pure obfuscation. Wicked Pedia is the most unreliable source for any serious scientific research! Shun it! I only source it to show and glean the true grain from between the false tares! Beware!]

Pleiades2 Pleiades1

The Seven Pleiadens were Maia, (matriarch of the Mayans!) Electra mother of Dardanus founder of Troy, Taygete, Alcyone, Celaeno, Sterope, and Merope.

Because these Seven Pleiades were Atlas’ daughters they were also called the ‘Atlantides‘ who bore many children fathered by Mizraim-Osiris-Zeus, Sidon-Poseidon (son of Cham-Kronus), and by Orion and Ares.

ZeusTheir children multiplied and populated this Atlantic thalassocracy (sea empire) of Atlantis which stretched all the way from Ireland to “Maiami” (Maia) Florida, via Mexico to the Antilles and all Carribean islands in between, across the Atlantic Ocean (after Father Atlas & Mother Oceanid) all the way via the Canary Islands of Africa, Mauretania, to the Azores of the coast of present day Portugal, to Tartessos and Gades (present day Cadiz) in South West Spain, also called Sidonia (after Sidon), and further –as Plato stated– inside the Pillars or Gates of Heracles into Northern Africa as far as Libya, Italy, Southern Europe reaching to swallow up Asia, as the Atlanteans tried to take over Greece and Egypt, like the priest from Sais Egypt told Solon, according to Plato’s Critias. (see below)

This is confirmed by this quote from ‘The Travels of Noah”, which longer version is also found at the end of this article:

“Altheus then, the son of Tuscus, began to take upon him the rule and commaund of Italie, presently after the death of his deceased father, which was the fourth yeare after the death of his grandfather Hercules in Spaine, who as you have heard, left inheritour unto him Hesperus, the brother of Atlas, for the governement of that countrey: which Hesperus had not there long reigned, but hee was expulsed and driven out of his countrey by violent and oppressive meanes by his brother Atlas the gyant, surnamed Italus: so that now hee was enforced to forsake the countrey, and so flie into Italie, in one part of which, hee afterward commaunded, and called it after his own name Hesperia, which name it long time afterwards retained.

“After this, Atlas Italus, not contented sufficiently with the principalitie and dominion of Spaine (as over ambitiously thoughted) came also into Italie, and overswayed by his maghtinesse and power al the country round about, and created and established himselfe king & ruler thereof, and called all the countrey generally after his owne name, Italia, by which it is at this day called, & in the kingdome of Spaine he appointed one of his sonnes to reign called Sicorus, which was now by just account the fourteenth king thereof.

“When these things were thus done, he went also into Sicilia, as Galatheus before had done, and there for a while he rested himselfe, till [at he] length he returned againe backe into Italie, wherein afterwards he lived many yeares. This Italus Atlas by his descent was of the linage of Iaphet, and of his sonne Comerus Gallus, the first king of Italie; and it was hee, which according to the opinions of many, excelled most of all men then living, in the knowledge of Astrologie, for which cause the [busie] Poets fained, that he supported and upheld the heaven with his soulders.  Altheus all this while was suppressed and kept under by the mightinesse of his ruler, by reason whereof, hystories cannot speake of any worthie matter done or performed by him: onely it is written, he builded and erected two very large and beautifull cities, one of them called Alteta, the other Althea, with a castle also called after the same name.  And this Altheus, the son of Tuscus before specified was uncle unto Dardonus, the first builder and founder of Troy.”

noah_to_dardanusA simplified genaeology chart that left out some links!

Although Atlantis was foremost an Atlantic thallasocracy, nevertheless the red-headed Atlantean giants traveled all over the globe before and during the Ice Age, as recorded in the Annals of Clonmacnoise about the giant Fomorians who were the seafaring offspring of Ham and who made themselves a nuisance as cannibalistic tyrants to the Irish, and as pirates across the entire Earth.

5.Was Atlantis One Island or an Empire?

DiodorusSiculusDiodorus Siculus said:

‘Over against Africa lies a very great island in the vast ocean, many days sail from Libya westward’ (Book V, Chap ii). The Phonecians, he said, having built Gades, sailed along the Atlantic coast of Africa when a ship was ‘On a sudden, driven by a furious storm far into the main ocean; and that after they had lain under this tempest for many days, they at length arrived at this island’.

Firstly, the word ‘Island’ translated in Plato’s text below, actually comes from the Greek word ‘Nesos’, like Peloponnesos, which also means a ‘peninsula‘ forming the southern part of Greece south of the Gulf of Corinth. So Plato may just as well have been speaking of a peninsula like Spain whose coastal region was also heavily submerged all the way to Ireland and Britain where Doggerland sank under the North Sea, during that very post-Ice-Age flooding caused by the sea level rise! Spain, according to Linch’s ‘Noah’s travels’ of 1611 AD (see bottom post!), was ruled by the tyrant Atlas’ three sons!

Note how Plato mentions (in line 5) below, that “in those days the Atlantic was navigable“, e.g. the days before the sinking of Atlantis’ coastal lands and islands worldwide around 1500 BC. This supports my argument that during the Ice Age the oceans were easier to negotiate because sea levels were 130 M./300 ft. lower than today, which made them likely calmer.

TirrenideSecondly, it may of course also refer to one real island that may still lie undiscovered under the Atlantic Ocean, OR to the area which was known to connect Italy via Sicily with Tunisia forming a land bridge which also got totally swallowed by the sea, except for Malta, while the inland sea named ‘Mare Atlantico’, which some believe to be the Triton Lake, which eventually dwindled into dry ‘wadis’ and a few oases, because of the ensuing droughts and aridification of North Africa!

This landbridge between Italy and Africa may have had a very small and treacherous single channel with strong currents that ships had to sail through to get into the Western Mediterranean. Was that channel perhaps the origin of the “myth” described in the old Greek literature where the Sirens tempted the sailors with their singing, causing them to crash against the rocks? And was this narrow channel perhaps the first “pillars of Heracles” before Gibraltar was named like that?Odysseus (Ulysses) and the Sirens - painting by Otto Greiner, depicting Odysseus having himself chained to the mast of his boat,...A7HXBF Odysseus (Ulysses) and the Sirens - painting by Otto Greiner, depicting Odysseus having himself chained to the mast of his boat,Odysseus (Ulysses) and the Sirens – painting by Otto Greiner, depicting Odysseus having himself chained to the mast of his boat.  IS THAT WHY THIS ISLAND IS CALLED SIRENUSAS???

Several sirens were said to have inhabited the islands, the most famous of whom were Parthenope, Leucosia, and Ligeia. One of them played the lyre, another sang, and another played the flute. They are mentioned in the 1st century BC by Strabo, the Greek Geographer and by Straton of Sardis in 120 A.D. In ancient stories, the sirens were depicted as having bodies of a bird and human heads, but the medieval interpretations of the stories depicted them as mermaids. The terms Sirenai and Sirenusai, from the Latin Sirenusae, meaning indicate both the sirens themselves and their residence.

Our position is, that Atlantis was not merely ONE sunken island as Plato said, but rather, as he also spoke about a total trans-Atlantic empire reaching even across the “true ocean” all the way to another continent he called, “the surrounding land (which) may be most truly called a boundless continent“, which obviously refers to North and South America, thus proving our point.

Thirdly, the island Plato spoke about may refer to the undersea submerged islands of the Azores where recently a pyramid-formed underwater mountain was discovered, as you can read in our post here! But all the ten to twelve sunken islands would be quickly resurrected if the ocean level sank 130 M. again, as you could see on the sea map in section One!

AztlanFourth the “island” may refer to the sunken ruins and Bimini Road near Maiami! From Maia!  OR, and that may make even more sense, to the upper and lower Antilles islands which may have been named that by ancient Irish sea-farers like St. Brendan the navigator of Galway, who sailed there already in 734 AD, because in Gaelic ‘An‘ means water and ‘tilles‘ (tealla like Latin telus) means land! Water-land! Whereas the name for the original lost island Aztlán is reminiscent of Atlas, whose people worshipped a god called ‘Atlanteotl’, namesake for Atlas of course.

Naturally, it is very unlikely to find the original location of Aztlan, as it by definition also SANK! Like that famous song in the cartoon movie about Ariel & Neptune called “Under the Sea.” That’s where Aztlan is! Under the Sea! But just because Wicked Pedia can’t locate it, it relegates Aztlan to “myth” land?

Aztlán (from Nahuatl: Aztlān, /ˈast͡ɬaːn/) is the legendary ancestral home of the Aztec peoples. Aztecah is the Nahuatl word for “people from Aztlan”. The place Aztlan is mentioned in several ethno-historical sources dating from the colonial period, and each of them give different lists of the different tribal groups who participated in the migration from Aztlan to central Mexico, but the Mexica who went on to found Mexico-Tenochtitlan are mentioned in all of the accounts.

How We Lose the Information War

Even though Wicked Pedia relegates it to the “mythical realm”, Aztlan points to the very identical phenomenon of yet another sunken land, island, world, or empire, as Plato testified! I’d rather relegate Wicked Pedia to Myth-land though, and the sooner the better! It is a doggone crying shame that all present internet browsers and search engines grant Wicked Pedia first place! We ought to loudly protest, relegating W.P. to “Wonky Land!”

AncientOriginsDarwinianGatekeeper490.000 years before the Flood and Creation!? WOW!

While we’re at it, we might as well do the same with “Ancient Origins”.net which is just another history gatekeeper (hysteria outfit?), drumming in that dreaded Darwinian paradigm to keep you in the fold! That outfit appeared suddenly from nowhere with an expensive fancy website! It’s pushed in the search engines and except for April Holloway, the famous “meditating” editor, it has no source or origin. It is also populated by the New Age, megalomaniacal, Alien & 80-50-20.000 BP Ice Age promoting, neo-Darwinian cover artists and pop-historians like Hancock, Childress, Foerster, Von Danicken, Shoch, et al, etc. who prefer to promote their book sales rather than truth sales!

I’ll tell you, a New World Order promoted site like that.. takes lots of money, probably Soros’ funding. A company like that requires a big full-time staff selling many books to keep the ‘Simian’ African origin narrative afloat! Don’t you be taken in by them for a Darwinian ride! Your life may depend on it! They work with so many ‘famous’ writers; Graham Hancock, David Hatchet Childress, Brian Foerster, Sam Osmanagich, etc, selling their books and speeches around the world! The filty-lucre loving compromisers!

We can’t keep the truth-balance with just my lonely little one horse website, and therefore the truth is losing the battle for the minds, because they reach and influence more undecided people than we ever will, except for a miracle! But then again, there are hopefully a billion Jesus’ believers who practice history like we do! But, we would like to save the rest too, which seems impossible, at least in this dispensation of grace! I know. Some have to learn the hard way.

Fifth, last but not least, Atlantis’ origins may refer to that seafloor city pattern found on Google Earth, but was then denied by Google to be anything other than “scrape tracts of their underground cameras” that just happened to form such a neat pattern of streets, and only in that area! We believe everything you say of course. 🙂

After the Atlanteans had taken over Spain and Italy –acc. to the Travels of Noah below — they began to further threaten the Eastern Mediterranean. The priest of Sais told Solon that the Greeks had been very brave and fought valiantly together with Egypt to beat back the Atlantioid, albeit with the help of what some would call “Mother Nature” which we refer to as divine intervention of God, who loves the weak and defends them against the rich and powerful!

How so? Because catastrophe struck and Atlantis was swallowed up by the sea! The melting ice caps dramatically raised the ocean levels submerging the main city centers of Atlantis, probably lying underwater somewhere of the coast of Cadiz in Southern Spain, an area once called ‘Tharsis’ after Tartessos, where the Canaanites or Phoenicians did some serious Rio Tinto mining!

6. What is Atlantis’ Correct Dating?

Atlantis was an established empire by 2000 BC and lasted until around 1500-1400 BC. when the 125 M. 300 ft. flooding took place all over the world. Atlas may have founded it around the time when the sea-travels began around 2300 BC, perhaps a hundred years after the 2400 BC Global Flood, and naturally it picked up after that with their direct offspring joining their endeavors.

The ±1500 BC dating for the universal sea level rise and subsequent local floodings everywhere, is proven by the timing of the legends from India below, and of course of the Mediterranean floods etc. We leave you with the sources and make up your own mind.

Inspite of Plato speaking of a “9000 year” hiatus between him and the sinking of Atlantis pushing it to 9400? BC, we have a much stronger case that it happened perhaps a 1000 years earlier at the latest 1400 BC or even earlier than that because of the 1500 BC dating of the Athenian kings Cecrops, Ericthonius, Erysichthon, Erechtheus, and Theseus, whom Plato himself stated lived around the time frame that Atlantis went under! So Plato counted wrong and could have corrected himself, as Homer had written that Ericthonius lived ten generations before the Trojan War, so around 1100 BC.

When did Khrishna’s city of Dwaraka sink? According to the Indian writings of the Mahabharata NOT before 3100 BC, because that is ostensibly when Krishna died! So certainly not 9500 BC! See the next clipping from Wicked Pedia!

Indian archaeologists unearthed a seal given to the citizens of Dwaraka which was also mentioned in the Mahbharata, proving its connections to Dwaraka! The boulders on which the city’s walls were erected proves that the land was reclaimed from the sea around 1600 BC, were also mentioned in the Mahabharata, along with the seven islands also disvoered submerged in the Arabian Sea, plus pottery which was dated to around 1500 BC. How much closer can one get? Definitely not 9500 BC!

Thus it is definitely proven that the unique Ice Age took place and ended BEFORE 1500 BC, and definitely not 20.000 BP (Before Present!) equal to 18.000 BC. Sorry, Darwinist “Historians”, your way-too-long-ago theories have been upstaged and overturned, and found wanting!

Here is the ancient account where Arjuna “addressed the chief officers to prepare to leave Dwaraka within seven days, as Dwaraka is going to sink in the ocean!”
How did Arjuna know that, unless they had been following and calculating the speed of the encroachment of the ocean before it reached the city limits? Otherwise Arjuna  surely was a “true prophet!”

7.Why is Atlantis Kept a Mystery MYTH?

We don’t know everything about ancient history. We heard about Thera or Santorini exploding, and it is not treated as a mystery, nor doubted by people in academia. Neither is other non-controversial phenomena like “who built Ankor Wat”, or “who founded the Xia Dynasty”, or “were Incas and Mayans from South America?” Standard answer: They crossed the Bering Strait from Mongolia and Siberia and China, and there is no controversy, only that it is a small part of the entire story!

So why is Atlantis treated as a Pariah, an illegitimate child, a secret lover we don’t talk about, a great mystery nobody knows whether true or nor, after all it is a “myth!” MYTH! That mysterious word that gets hurled at anything and all things that do not jive with the ruling Darwinian narrative. That would be the definition of myth! Any history that proves that Darwinism is false, a hoax, a lie, and in fact totally obsolete and in left field, weren’t it for the massive support of the Terrible Triumvirate Bankia, media, Academia! These three are the ones pushing this untenable theory or upstaged pseudo history & pseudo science.

Darwinism is a dead corps that is kept breathing and heart beating because of the life support propaganda machine, nothing else! It is dead as a doornail. Yet the duped masses don’t know it, because they are kept in the dark by Bankia-Media-Academia, on purpose!

So why are some mysteries OK to postulate, and others are not? Like Atlantis and pre-Columbian travel all over the frigging world? Because it would go against the new Darwinian Genesis of Lucy or African Eve from Africa, to dumb to built pyramids, or adam-and-eve-300x204boats to cross the oceans with so early in human history, when “they were just learning to write, for crying out loud!” Cavemen, or fresh Neanderthalers coming out of Africa, for all they want  you to know.

But it is a complete fabrication, a doozie to take you on a mental garden walk, a fairy tale like Santa Claus, a bogus theory and a false historical narrative that never even took place! So why doesn’t Atlantis fit in to that? Just as much as the pyramids don’t fit into it, but they can’t deny those, because they are too big to deny. Everybody can see them! Ha! But you won’t hear the true facts and narrative about them either! I figure the antiquity department of Egypt is the most occupied Darwinian territory outside of the Smithsonian Institute.

LehnerHawassYou think Lehner and Hawas can tell the whole truth about Egypt and the pyramids? No way! Hawass is probably told to shut up and cover things up. It would be too revealing, and turn “myth” into real history, it would sweep away all the Darwinian clouds of obfuscation that darken our true descent and true history of Man! Which is; We do not descend from ape-like or any other creatures. We do not come from cavemen and Neanderthalers in some non-existant PRE-HISTORY? There is no such thing as pre-history! before History began there was nothing! Nothing was made that was made before Creation!

There was a pre-FLOOD History with ten kings until the Flood, a theme that all nations and tribes and civilisations knew and many talked about, up until today. They know about the TEN and they knew about the EIGHT! The 8 survivors of the global deluge that wiped out the former world by water! And that is exactly what they don’t want you to know about! The Flood! Like Manu and his seven Rishis on a boat, make eight survivors of the Flood.

It is not an elephant but the MAMMOTH in the historical Living room. And it is being denied as if everything depended on it. And it does! Because unless our history is based once again on the true historicity of the Global Deluge and its “Cambrian” explosion of civilisations, inventions, relocation of races, and world re-population, i.e. genuine World-History, you and I are sentenced to be a “rootless race”, un-anchored creatures who don’t know who they are, where they come from, and where they are going! And that is the entire reason that Atlantis cannot be discussed or be pulled into its proper realm, the discussed realm of history!

There is more proof of Atlantis than of the Hittites, for crying out loud, yet they are admitted to the playing field, there’s no myth about them, only some mystery as to what happened to them. But they are accepted, discussed, and researched! Atlantis? Oh no! That is forbidden archaeology, anathema theory, untouchable, non existent, off limits!

For example. you can do a thesis on the Hittites, but you can’t do a thesis on Atlantis for your PhD. You’ll be told that it is “not a proper theme or subject.” You don’t make a thesis about a non-politically correct myth! Unless your job is to banish it once and for all to the land of myths. Then you could perhaps write about the “MYTH of ATLANTIS!” Any other way? No!

And the same goes for all the other so-called “myths!” The “myth” of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the “myth” of Joseph in Egypt, the “myth” of Moses, “myth” of Jesus, the “myth” of the Exodus, the “myth” of the Red Sea Crossing, the “myth” of the Flood, and of course the “myth” of … CREATION! THE MYTH OF GOD!! That is the darn agenda of the Anti-God forces of Darwinism in this rigged world! Come out of it my people! Be not anymore confused about our heritage! We are being bull-dunged! And you wouldn’t want to be bull-dunged, now would you?

There is nothing mythical about Antarctica, and there is nothing mythical about Atlantis, or about Atlas its founder, or about the Atlantic Ocean, or the Atlas Mountains, of Italy named after Atlas, or the Atlantean people that lived, mined metal, and traded there, all the way to the Americas that they don’t want you to know about, and there is even truth in the Greek mythology and legends, and in the Egyptian legends, and the legends of all other races and tribes of man. These legends are surely embellished, yet based on true history! And that is called Euhemerism, named after the Greek historian Evhemerus who took myths as having a historical core of truth although embellished!

As we embellish history today, “Obama is a man of peace! So give him a Nobel prize.” “9-11 was done by Arabian cavemen with box cutters”, and “JFK was killed by a lone nut instead of by the entire CIA of ‘Bankia, Media, and Academia’!” Get my drift? But are you getting the picture? Aren’t you tired of being dull-dunged all the frigging time? I am! As you can tell! I want the truth! I want the true story. I want true history! NOW! And they stuff their bull-dung up their own channel! Thanks! I don’t want it, I don’t like it, I don’t believe it! Anymore!

Are you ready for a historical revolution? You should be! Spread this and make it viral! Your life may depend on it! And it probably does! I will update this post frequently in the near future, but for now it is all I can do. Please link to it as it is the nearest truth you can find in a Non-Darwinian historical way!

8.The History of Europe During Atlantis

Hercules Hesperiden Apples
Hercules Hesperiden Apples

This is a 1611 compilation of Europe’s early ancient history from Noah’s time until Cesar and Roman occupation written by Richard Lynch in 1611. It is based on many different sources that all support each other, even though modern historians have relegated them to the area of  ‘myths’, in order to sustain the hopeless Darwinian narrative.
Mainly the Atlantean influence on the countries Spain, France, and Italy are featured, and it recounts –in ‘Middle English! — the invasion
and dictatorial reign of Atlas plus his three tyrannical sons’ take-over of these nations, until Hercules Libycus had enough of them after they had murdered his father Osiris-Zeus-Mizraim, and therefore eventually defeated them all. Enjoy!
(Mind you, It is written in Old English though)

Containing the first inhabitation and peopling thereof.
As also a breefe recapitulation of the Kings, Governors, and Rulers commanding in the same, even until the first building of Troy by Dardanus. Done into English by Richard Lynche, Gent.
LONDON, Printed by Adam Islip. 1601 — Transcribed by Brian Forbes
In the first yeare of the reigne of [Armasritis?] the ninth king of the Babylonians and Assyrians, the rule and governement of the kingdome of Spaine fell and came unto [Betus?], of whom afterwards a great part of the country tooke her name, and was knowne by the name of [Banica?]  The Etruscian by transposition and [divisiorr? ae, call] him Beatus, which with the Latines signifies happie or blessed.

The Hebrews derive this word Berus from Be him, which as S. Ierome interprets it, meaneth as much as, [Iesus vite?] [mke (id est) felicesetio ipaus a] and from hence it is likely, that in this countrey some supposed the Elesian fields to be, and so also thereby many other such like suppositions arose, which to decide would here be tedius, and too much digression from the matter entended. This king Betus raigned seven and thirtie yeares as Berosus and other authors does alleadge.

After him in the eight and thirtith yeare of Armatritis above mentioned, Gerion (surnamed Aser) challenged [the?] to him the rule and domination of the countrey of Spaine wherein it is written, he governed with great tyrannie and oppression of the inhabitants thereof, intruding himselfe by violent and forcible means into the possession and government of that kingdome.  This word Gerion signifies in the Hebrew tongue as much as advena in Latin, which he manifested more plainely by comming from Mauritania into this kingdome of Spaine, and ruling there like a straunger, according to his owne will, desire, and mightinesse.  Berosus, as also Diodorus Siculus, doth affirme, That he had another name also, which in the Aramen & Mauritanian language was deabo, in the Greeke Chyseo, in Latine Aureo, which first of all came of his great wealth and store of gold, in which he most wonderously abounded in those daies: and this Gerion seigned thus in this his usurped authoritie until the eight and twentith yeare of the raigne of Balochus, the tenth king and ruler of Babylonia, which was about the thirtie of three & thirtie yeare or near thereabouts.  Immediatly after him three brethren together tooke the rule and government of this countrey of Spaine into their hands, which were called Deabi Domnimi, which word (as S. Ierome expoundeth it) signifieth the cheefes or rulters of armies, and which wee call by the name of the three Gerions, beeing indeed the sons of the before mentioned Gerion, the last king and ruler of Spain.

In the time when these three brethren thus reigned and ruled together, happened that generally known accident, which afterward the world so universally entertained from the report of loud tongued Fame, which was, the untimely and unfortunat death of Osyris, surnamed Iupiter Iustus; who was most traiterously and vilely murdered by his brother Typhaus Egiptus, whose all lamented death was afterward highly revenged by his sonne Hercules Lybicus, who instantly took up armes, and scoured almost all the countries of the world until hee had cound out the author of the murther of his father Osyris, upon whose bodie, his angrie and wrathfull mind tooke in the end direfull and cruell revenge: at which time also (hee beeing in the pride and fulnesse of furie and choller) searcht out all corners and places of abode, where any such like bloudie and impious gyants, rulers, and commaunders, kept their tyriannicall and uncivile governments: among the rest, he slew Busyris in Phoenicia, Typheus the younger in Phygia, Mylinus, a great commaunder on the sae in Crete, Antheus in Lybia, the Lesirigones, in Italie, and afterwards, these three brethren called Geriones in Spaine, and also many others in many ohter places, as hath alreadie heretofore been spoken of.  After the overthrow thus of these late specified Geriomes, hee established and appointed to succeed in them one called Hispalus, who now after these instantly tooke upon him the government thereof.

Hispalus therefore (according to the report and affirmation of Berosus) now entered to take possession of the regaltie and principalitie of Spaine, which was from the floud five hundred fourescore and nine yeares, before the erection of Troy two hundred one and fourtie yeares, before the birth of Christ a thousand seven hundred twentie seven, and after the first finding out and peopling of Spain three hundred seven and fourtie yeares.  Of this Hispalus, the citie Hispalis first was erected and so entearmed; and he was the sonne of Hercules Lybicus, as many authours and writers of fame and great antiquitie have given in suport unto the posteritie of time.  He reigned and commaunded over Spaine until the very end of the reigne and governement of Baleus, the Babylonians eleventh king which was by just reckoning and account, the time of seventeene yeares.

In the first yeare of the raigne of Altades, the twelfth king of Babylonia, Hispanus the nephew of Hercules, was established king and sole ruler over the dominions of Spaine, of whome the countrey then generally was called Hispania, which the mallice of the time hath not yet worne out, but still it is knowne and called after teh same name.
After him, Hercules (comming out of Italie, fraught with yeares and many victories) tooke upon him by the election and sufferages of all the people, the rule & government thereof.  And thus hath been lineally drawne foorth the first inhabitation of the countrey of Spaine with the particular and right successions of the kings and commaunders thereof, as hath been assured and allowed by writers of great antiquitie and industrious Chronographers of Spain: where we will now surcease to wade any further, having brought it unto the very times where wee last left our cheefe purpose and matters and will goe forward, and proceed from hence untill wee shall nearer arrive at the time wherein Troy was first erected and sounded, following herein the same manner of method and forme, with which wee first set forth, and meane to continue unto the end (by the favourable permission and allowance of the divine Majestie.)

Hercules therefore ruling thus in Spaine, built and erected many goodly cities and faire castles in that countrey, wherupon at this day in some auncient records and comumentall schedules of Spaine, you may read of another title given unto him, which is, Hercules edificator.  He was called also by these names, as Her, Hercol, Arna, Masarno: and they thus signifie and are enflished from the Hebrew tongue, as S. Ierome and others expound it: Her signifieth hairie, Hercol all covered over with haire, Arno signifieth a Lion, and Musarno the portraiture or effigies of a Lyon, and these names were thus ascribed unto him, for that he alwaies wore for his upper garment the hairie skin of Lyons, Beares, Leopards, and other such like beasts, and for that on his shield or rarguer was depainted and drawne the shape and forme of a Lyon, and which, in all his wars and attempts hee alwaies caried about him: & with some he was called the knight of the ramping Lyon.  The town of Vetulonia, called also Viterbe, caused the picture of Hercules to bee stamped and imprinted on their coine: which continued unto the time and raigne and governement of the last king of the Lumbards, who then abollished the remembrance thereof by any such representation or means of memorie.

After the time of some nineteene yeares or thereabouts, as most writers doe alleadge, having governed with all love and obedience of the people, Hercules died, leaving all those countries thereabouts heavily lamenting the losse and departure of so noble and gallant a conqueror; which was about the time of his owne age three hundred and fiftie yeares, and after he had reigned and commaunded in Fraunce, Italie, and Spaine, threescore and seven yeares.  In solemne remembrance of whose great [chegally?] deplored death, the people of Spaine erected many most sumptuous and costly monuments, and bestowed upon him a wonderfull rich and stately tombe, which as some hold, was built hard by that place, which as wee now call them, the Gades, pillars, or columns of Hercules are seated upon, being not far from the famous streights of Gibraltar.  Vnto him also after his death they attributed very godlike honors, and tearms of veneration and reverence; so was hee possessed while hee lived among mortals, with the love and opinion of all those people thereabouts, and wheresoever else he had governed and commanded. And more of this so far renowned conquerour Hercules shall not at this time bee declared, whose victories, triumphes, & exploits would indeed require a small volume of themselves, being so many, so florious, & so worthie, deserving in the perfection of their owne merit to be insulpt in the brasse leaved booke of time-ressisting the endlesse perpetuitie.  And now we will revert our pen to speake of his two famous sons, Tuscus king of Italie, and Galatheus king of Fraunce, and of their issue and posteritie. But first is to be understood, that unto the kingdome of Spaine next after Hercules, succeeded Hesperus, being the twelfth king and governor thereof, & who was brother unto the renouned Atlas, whome hereafter occasion will bee presented to speake and entreat of.

It hath been before declared and mentioned, how that the great Monarch and Emperour Hercules dispossessing himselfe voluntarily of two royall & mighty kingdomes, placed and instituted therein his two sons, Tuscus and Galatheus: who long time after lived reciprocally, & reigned together in tehir severall commaunds and governement, in all peace, quiet, and tranquilitie.  All to shew and manifest this their love and agreement the more, Tuscus freely bestowed and gave unto his brother Galatheus the great Island of Sicilia, as then appertaining and belonging unto the crowne and kingdome of Italie, and which was then altogether desolate and disinhabited (the race and generation of Cham, Noes son, the first commander therof, being now extinct and perished.) Vnto this Island, Galatheus made a journey, carying with him great numbers and abundance of people, and all things necessary for the inpeopling and inhabiting thereof: which people and nation he afterwards and from thence forth called after his owne name Galathenes; and erected and built also a very great citie there, calling it by the name of Cenegalatha, of which citie likewise, Plinie in his fourth booke of Naturall hystorie doth there entreat and mention.

And it was held in those daies to be the greatest and cheefest honour that might bee, to authorise and license any to build and erect any citie, and to call it after his owne name: fot the denominating of which, no many neither could give any leave or authoritie, but those which were established in place and office of Coritus, that is the Patriarke, Iupiter, or cheefe king and commander of that country, as Tuscus then was, being the sole king and ruler over all Italie and all those territories adjoyning thereunto.  And this grace and favour Galatheus tooke in the great thankefulnesse and all kind acceptance, endevouring by all means possible to be found gratefull for so high a favor recieved.  After all matters were well setled and orderly disposed in this new erected governement of Sicilia, Galatheus returned backe again into his countrey of Fraunce, where with all signs and apparent tokens of a long wished welcome, hee was joyfully received of his people in all the provinces round about, where we must now leave him for a while, to speak of his brother Tuscus, and of his affaires and negotiations in his governemnet and charge.

This Tuscus (as is before declared) was the sole and absolute King, Patriarke, and Iupiter of all the dominions of Italie; of whose name also a cheefe province of that kingdome then tooke her name, and was called Tuscania, and by the favourable good will of the tyrant Time (who is wont to blot out all reliques and tokens of antiquitie) it yet retaineth the same: in which particular countrey, hee for the most part made his continuall abode and residence, which before that time was called Etruria, & before that, Ianicula, and the people thereof Ianigenes, which is as much to say, as the issue of Ianus: it was also called Oenotria, Hesperia, Apenina, and many others, according to the greatnesse or will of any such cheefe or famous king so commaunding and ruling over it.

Dionysus Halicarnaseus, writeth, That the countrey Hetruria (taken oftentimes for the whole and entire kingdome of Italie) was also called Comera, of Comcrus, Iaphets son; and it had to name also Razenua, Thuscia; and Thussa, and at this day Italia, as hereafter shall be declared, Berosus further sayth, That at the first peopling and inhabiting thereof, it was called Vmbria of the people Vmbri, which heretofore we have somewhat touched, as also Pelasgia of the people Pelasgi (taken also sometimes for the inhabitants of a countrey in Greece.) Besides all these, it was also knowne by the name of Tarrhenia, as many authors of great and approved knowledge in matters of antiquitie, have more amply delivered, which opinion also should be more easily entertained, if wee will but diligently marke the diverse and several names given & attributed unto other countries, after the same fashion, and manner: for first concerning the people of Fraunce, they were first of all called Samothei, of Samothes their king, then Celti, then Galatij, after that Belgae, of their king and Patriarke Beligius; after that Galli, and since that Francigenae or Franci.

The names in like manner of the people of Germanie varied and differed very often and severally: For the first name that ever that people received, were Tuyscones, or Tuyscon one of Noes sonnes, the first that ever was king and ruler over that countrey. After that they were called Gambrivij, then also Thetanes, Theutontes, Vindelici, [Vanalilci], after that Alemanni, and last of all, of the Romanes (as some hold) they were generally entearmed Germani. So that by these it is plainly shown, how almost all countries and nations have at diverse times been diversly and differingly called: by the occasion of which, many writers that have not indeed seriously and laboriously lookt into fragments of old and authentike fathers, have beene infected with some disease or other of ignorance and errour; by reason of which daungerous sickenesse, first creeping (though not perceived) into the heads of men learned and of authoritie, it hath prooved universally mortall, to all those that have not invoked the aid of that good Physician, Industrie, throughout all the world wheresoever.

And so now againe wee will returne to the place from whence we last of all set forth, which was from the matters and particulars which we handled of king Tuscus, sole ruler and commaunder of all the countrey of Italy, of whose actions or memorable atcheevements, there is little read in any authors, onely it is writ, that hee first invented the order and dignitie of the Palladian knighthood, and instituted large priviledges and allowances for the maintainance of that new found ceremonie.  And of any matter else which might challenge unto it selfe worth and extra-ordinarie commends, done and performed by him, few or no hystorians have written: onely hee left after him, his son Altheus inheritor & rightfull successor to his government and kingdome.

Altheus then, the son of Tuscus, began to take upon him the rule and commaund of Italie, presently after the death of his deceased father, which was the fourth yeare after teh death of his grandfather Hercules in Spaine, who as you have heard, left inheritour unto him Hesperus, the brother of Atlas, for the governement of that countrey: which Hesperus had not there long reigned, but hee was expulsed and driven out of his countrey by violent and oppressive meanes by his brother Atlas the gyant, surnamed Italus: so that now hee was enforced to forsake the countrey, and so flie into Italie, in one part of which, hee afterward commaunded, and called it after his own name Hesperia, which name it long time afterwards retained.

atlasAfter this, Atlas Italus, not contented sufficiently with the principalitie and dominion of Spaine (as overambitiously thoughted) came also into Italie, and overswayed by his maghtinesse and power al the country round about, and created and established himselfe king & ruler thereof, and called all the countrey generally after his owne name, Italia, by which it is at this day called, & in the kingdome of Spaine he appointed one of his sonnes to reign called Sicorus, which was now by just account the fourteenth king thereof.  When these things were thus done, he went also into Sicilia, as Galatheus before had done, and there for a while he rested himselfe, till [at he] length he returned againe backe into Italie, wherein afterwards he lived many yeares.

And this Altheus, the son of Tuscus before specified was uncle unto Dardonus, the first builder and founder of Troy.

Hee had also a sonne called Blascon, but it is not read, that hee was afterward Coritus, that is, king of Italie, or commanded any extraordinary power and authroitie; but that this Atlas Italus created and established one of his owne sonnes, called Margos, in the dignitie and office thereof, wrongfully disinheriting the true heires that might lawfully have challenged the same: so that this unjust meanes of usurpation & greatnesse, the lines and issue of Hercules was debarred from the professing and enjoying of what rightfully belonged unto them.  Also he created and appointed his daughter called Rhoma, as dutchesse and commaundresse of the people and nation called Aborigines (of whome heretofore wee something spoke of.

And this Rhoma was afterward maried to a prince of Tuscane, of whom she had a son called after her owne name Rhomanessos, who was the first that ever laid the first foundation of the citie of Rome, as Semipronius very confidently affirmeth, condemning all those which attribute the first founding thereof unto Romulus, who (sayth hee) indeed beautified and enlarged the same, but was not the first that laid the foundation thereof; and that his name Romulus (being himselfe found hard by that cittie by wonderous accident) tooke his name of Rome, and not Roma of Romulus, as the above written authour Semprionius, a very sufficient writer, and some others also of allowed authoritie, have [averied] the same. And the interpretation of this word Rhomanossos, as S. Ierome, the Talmudists, and many others does expound it, is as much, as, Magna ut potens sublimis as, a mightie or powerfull height or glorie; being compounded of two severall words of Aramean language; Roma, which interpreted, signifies Sublimitas, as Nesson, which is validum augurium, which is, a strong and infallible prophecie, which indeed the exceeding greatnesse & all subjugating power & mightinesse of that Empire did afterwards very fitly answer and make good, being raised unto that infinit greatnesse and highest perfection of soveraignetie, that it impelled almost the greater part of the world to sue unto her favour, and to become tributarie in great taxes and impositions unto her seat & magnificence.

And this citie also was called long after by the name of Valentia: of which, now wee will cease further to entreat, returning to the matter before handled of Atlas, surnamed Italus, now flourishing and commaunding over Italie in great puissance, glorie, and mightinesse who although (as it is alreadie before specified) he bore great affection, favour, and love unto his sonne Marges, and had established him in the regaltie and kingdome of Italie, as Corius, yet hee began in the end to thinke and meditat with himself how apparent and monstrous wrongs and indignities hee had offered to all the issue and posteritie of Hercules, in expelling Altheus, and depriving his sonne Blascon of his right in the principalitie of that countrey; & in those thoughts and humors, hee caused to be called unto him Camboblascon, the sonne of the beforementioned Blascon, the sonne of Altheus, and in lieu and recompence of all former and forepassed injuries, hee gave unto him one of his owne daughters in marriage and matrimoniall association, who was called Electra, with whome in dowrie hee gave all those townes and countries lying about the Alpes and the hether mountaines, nearest confining upon Italie: and upon this, presently after died. After whose death, his sonne Morges, posessed belike with holy and religious congitations, acknowledging and might wrong and disparagement which his faterh had imposed on his brother in law Cambobliscon, in depriving him of all his rightfull succession, willingly and voluntarily despoiled himselfe of his crowne and commaund, and transferred it upon Camboblascon, whom presently hee caused to bee created and established in the dignitie of Coritus, that is, the Iupiter or king of Italie; and so after that, contented himselfe to live privately and obscurely with his brother in law and sister Electra: with whome hee had not many yeares lived and conversed, but hee died, and paied Nature that debt which no sureties can put off, or be bound or: and so then Camboblascon was with mor egenerall allowances of the people fully invested in his office and place of Contus, which is as much to say as Iupiter Coronatus, as I have alreadie made known, and which I cannot almost too often expound, in that many have made so many and severall doubts and scrupules, What these Iupiter, Saturnes, and Hercules might meane?  Which names indeed are nothing else but titles of honour, superioritie, and dignitie: and Iupiter was such, as in AEgypt Pharoa, and in Rom Sesar, and as now their Pope: for Iupiter is as much as, Iuvans pater: and Papa, Pattr Patrium. And whereas the superstitious people in those dayes honored and reverenced them as gods, it was nothing else, but for some excellencie and great dignitie they possessed, or for some great vertue, learning, and knowledge they were then endued with, as Fabius Pictor and Zenophon have delivered the same, saying: Principes quia insierant, & religionibas di dits, iure babisi dij & dicti. Non enim arbitria illorum ab equo, vel populio a iurt innato difoedrbant.  Now then having satisfied that point, we may the more boldly proceed with out intendment and with the matters of this Comboblascon king of Italie, and Iupiter and Patriarke thereof, and the great father (as they say) of the famous and renowned Trojans.

descent_of_dardanusAnd this king built the faire cittie of Montoblascon in Tuscania, which by corruption is now called and knowne by the name of Montiscon: and another also which hee named Coritus, now called Cornete, which is situated about some fortie miles from the now mightie cittie of Rome. And this Camboblascon had by his wife Electra, the daughter of Atlas Italus king of Italie, three children, which are these, Iasius, Dardanus, and Armonia: Iasius being created [Corlifus] and Patriarke of Italie, his father being alive, who also bestowed upon him the rule and kingdome of Fraunce (as many hystoriographers affirm) the next yeare after; so that he became very mightie and powerfull in all those countries thereabouts.

And now we will proceed with the rest of the kings of Fraunce, beginning where we last left of, which was (if it bee remembered) at Galatheus, the noble sonne of Hercules of Lybia, and of his faire wife Galathea: where it was then mentioned, how this Galatheus at the hands of his loving brother Tuscus, received the Island of Sicilia, and accordingly, caried with him people to inhabite and possesse the countrey, which being performed, he returned also back again into Fraunce, as hath been likewise before some what touched: after which time, hee lived peaceably and quietly many yeares governing his people with  great mildnesse and clemencie, and yet mingled and accompanied with uprightnesse of justice, and execution of his laws and edicts; of whose deeds and performances, more than are alreadie spoken of, few or no writers have mentioned, onely, that of him and of his name the countrey generally was called Gaule, and so continued, and the people thereof tearmed Gaulons, which by corruption and overturning of many ages and times, are now in some part of that countrey called Wallons, and which before Galatheus, were called Samothei or Celti.

And it is most likely by the conjecturall opinions of most writers, that this king Galatheus remained and lived in those dayes for the most part in that part of Gaule, which is now the province of Acquirator, which is so called of the abundance of waters and rivers wherein that countrey was wont to exceed, and that this place was held to be the first and most [uneient] of all the other parts of Fraunce, which indeed are onely two [mote;] for that whole countrey of Fraunce is by most devided onely into three parts, and they are called Gallia, Acquinaticia, Celtica, and Belgica, which of themselves retaine and carie the very names of the first kings and rulers of them, as before is something specified.  The cheefe cities and principall siegnories of Gallia Aquinatica, are supposed and held to bee these, as most auncient writers does consent, Natbon, Thoulouse, Caours, Roderz, Lymoges, Perigort, Bourges, Tours, Foix, Lestore, Allebreth, Saint Pons, Nantes, Resnes, Saint Malo, and others. The cheefest rivers and waters, these, Gironde, Dordonne; Garonne, Loire, Lalier, Cher, Charente, & many others now too long to recite.

After the death of the famous and most renowned prince Galatheus, his sonne Harbon tooke upon him the governement of the countrey, and was established the twelfth king of Fraunce, who presently erected and built a very gallant citie for his seat, and called it Harbonne after his owne name, which is now called Narbonne, as many authours doe affirme.  And of this king, little or nothing is left written, memorable, or meriting a tedious commemoration or rehearsall onely hee left behind him a son called Lugdus, which was now the thirteenth king of this countrey of Fraunce, and who built the famous citie called Lugdunum, called also Lyon; which is now one of the cheefest and principallest cities of France, and which hath long time flourished in great priviledges, prerogatices, and extraordinarie customes, beeing a citie indeed [tref] auncient and of long continuance; and of her name, all that province is called Lyonnolse, which, as some hold, is contained within the bounds of Gallia Celtica, and is the greatest and the cheefest part thereof.

And this citie of Lyons was first founded and erected by the same king Lugdus, in the twelfth yeare of the raigne of Mancaleus, the fourteenth king of Babylon, which is as much to say, as after the floud & inundation of the whole world sixe hundred and fourescore yeares, after the first inhabiting of Fraunce five hundred and sixteene yeares, before the foundation of the cittie of Troy one hundred and fourtie yeares, and before the now famous citie of Paris was erected Two hundred and twentie years, before Rome was built, five hundred threescore and eighteene yeares, and before the incarnation and birth of our Saviour Christ a thousand sixe hundred seven and thirtie yeares, or neare thereabouts. And in the times of this king Lugdus, arrived and came into Fraunce the queene Isis, who was so famous and so renowned throughout all the world.

After this Lugdus succeded his eldest sonne Belgius, now the fourteenth king of that countrey, whose name is yet even [tresin] in all mens memories; for of his name that great and populous countrey called Gallia Belgica, tooke her title and was so called, of which (as of the other) we will now make some mention.  The cheefest rivers and waters thereof are these, Lesoaute, la Sambre, le Lis, le Rin, Meuso, and Moselle, Saine, Marine, Somme, le Daulx, and others; the cheefe woods and forests these, Moramault and Ardenne.  The highest hils and mountaines, are the hill Saint Claude, les Faucsilles, and Vosegus. The principall villages and gearest cities are these: Cambray, Vallenciennes, Couloign, Confians, Vtrecht, Mayence, Strasbourg, Aix, Constance, Lyege, Tournay, Arras, Amfens, Beauvais, Senlis, Laon, Noyon, Soissons, Meaulx, Rouan, Rains, Metz, Langres, Besancon, Salins, Dole, Losanne, Geneve, and Camberi.  The cheefe siegnories are these: the Dukedomes of Iulliers, Cleves, Cheldes, Brabant, Lorraine, Bar, Lembourg, and Luxembourg: the counties Palatine, Haynau, Bourgoigne, Ferretes, Montbeliard, Flaunders, Artois, Champaine, Holland, Zeland, and Namur. This king Belgius (of whome all these gallant and most famous countries were thus called) builded also the citie of Belges, of which, now only some ruines and reliques of memorie are left, which are to be seene in the countrey of Haynau, and which Iulius Cesar likewise in the sixteenth booke of his Commentaries doth mention &  remember, where he calleth it Belgium.

This word Belgius (as many old writers expound it) signifieth in the Hebrew or Phenician language (which [roung or toung] the ancient Gaulous then used) as much as An Auncient god wrestling; for in those times (as I alreadie have spoken) the people called their kings, gods: by which it may be gathered, that this their king Belgius was a great wrestler, unto which kind of exercise and unto the barriers, the people inhabiting in Gallia Belgica did not long since wonderfully much addict themselves, & were very active and skilfull therein, howsoever at this day those sports for the most part are now utterly left off and rejected.  S. Ierome sayth also, That this word Belgi signifieth in the Hebrew tongue, An auncient commotion, or an old strife: and indeed heretofore those people of that countrey were much conversant in wars, in troubles, and deffentions, and were held to bee the most valiant and strongest nation of this part of the world, as Cesar also in his Commentaries alleadgeth to the same purpose, saying: Forissimi Antem Ommium Belgi.  And Strabo in the fourth booke of his Commentaries also sayth thus: Ommium Gallorum Belgi Sant Sammi: as a people that in those times (as it is written) could bring into the field three hundred thousand fighting men. And thus much for the descriptions of the people of the countrey called Gallia Belgica, with the cheefest townes, siegnories, and rivers thereof, and now we will looke back again for the prosecuting and finishing of our former matter.

In this king Belgius, the line and race of Galatheus the sonne of Hercules Lybicus, failed and was determinate, so that upon his death the people of Fraunce (beeing of themselves wonderfully desirous to elect one of that lineage so near as it was possible) bestowed the government and commaund of that countrey upon the above written Iasius Ianigens, the sonne of Iupiter Camboblascon, And so by that meanes Iasius was invested and established in that kingdome as the fifteenth king and Patriark thereof. And in this yeare the realm & kingdome of Athens in Greece was  first set up and begun, as Berosus our cheefly followed author in these matters of antiquitie avereth, who thus saith: Apud lanigens a patre, Iasius creaius est Coritus, & anno fequente finul caperent duo reges, videlice premuse Rex Athensensium Cecrops priscus, & Iasius Ianigens apud Celtas. And this was about fourescore yeares or thereabouts before the first building and erection of the cittie of Troy.

Iasius Ianigena, the eldest of Iupiter Camboblascon (as is before declared) beeing thus so gloriously possessed of two such regall and powerfull kingdomes, and being in the cheefest spring and blooming daies of his age, contracted and joined in mariage with a noble and rich ladie called Ipitis Cibeles: for the celebration of which nuptials and espousals, great feasts and ceremonies of joy and triumph were held and kept, and (as some write) performed in the cittie of Viterbe, then the capitall seat of all Tuscania.  And this was before the foundation of Troy three-score and seventeene yeares, in the presence of Dardanus the first builder thereof, and brother to the new maried king Iasius Ianigens.  Many writers doe affirme, That in this mariage were greater triumphs, pastimes, sports, magnificencie, state and pomp, than  in any other in those times throughout all the world whatsoever, and cheefely in respect of that noble assembly and meeting of so many mightie and great princes, and more particularly for the comming of the famous empresse and goddesse (as they tearme her) the AEgyptian Isis, the daughter of Cham, the wife of Iupiter Iustus, otherwise called Osyris, and the mother of that all renowned and ever memorable conquerour, Hercules of Lybia, king and emperor of all Fraunce, Italie, and Spaine.

osiris-green-smallAnd this Isis there first taught those people the manner of making bread, of floure, meale, and such like stuffe; although before that Osyris her husband had instructed them in knowledge of agriculture, tilling, and sowing corne, yet they were not untill now perfected in the use and right applying thereof, especially for the making of bread, which they learned and understood by the comming of this empresse Isis.

DiodorusSiculusAnd this mariage and ceremonie of association and matrimonie was the first that in those times was celebrated and solemnized with any rites, feastivals, or new invented usances, as Diodorus Siculus to the same purpose thus sayth, these beeing his very words: Has nuptias a dys primum celebratas ferunt, Cereremque ingratiam Iasy ei ex frumento panem attulisse, Mercurium lyram, Palladem decantatum monile peplum, ac tibias, &c.

This their goddesse Isis, otherwise called by the name of Ceres, Iuno, Frugisera, Legisera, and others, was by all probabilitie and by the opinion of all writers a woman of wonderfull long life and many yeares, for at  her now arrivall and comming to this mariage into Italie, she was at the least foure hundred and fiftie yeares old, as shee that was borne in the first yeare of the raigne of Semir Amis queene of Babylon, and lived in the whole at the least six hundred and sixteene yeares, for shee was living after the first destruction and desolation of Troy, by the space of fourtie yeares or neeare thereabouts, as almost all writers have delivered in their opinions to the same purpose and effect.

Iohannes Annius an old writer, sayth, that shee was in Germanie in the time of Hercules Altmannus, the eleventh king of that countrey, by him called Almaigne: and Cernelius Tacitus also seemeth to affirme the same by these words, Pars Suevorum etism Isidi sacrificat. It is written also, that she was in Fraunce in the time of Lugdus then king thereof, as hath beene before declared, and that shee had travelled almost all these parts of Europe, instructing and teaching the poore ignorant people the use of many things then unknown & unfound out. And to approove the better that she was present at this mariage of Iasuis Ianigens, it is yet apparent in that countrey of Tuscan by many very auncient scrols, left still from time to time in that countrey from one posteritie to another; as also certaine old statues and monuments of marble, with inscriptions of characters infixed thereon, found out in the times of Pope Alexander the sixt, averre the same, which as Iohannes Annius sayth, were first found in the earth in the citie of Viterbe: and that there were at that time upon further digging and search of more such like reliques, found hidden far in the ground four severall images or pictures of triumph, the one was of Iasius, the other of his mother Electra, the third of his faire sister Armonia, which never maried, but continued and died a vestall virgine, and the fourth was of Cibeles the now new maried wife of Iasuis.

There was also found another square kind of table made of marble, on which were in Greeke letters, these words following engraved, which not long after were thus translated into Latine. Cornina di sponsttio, cux Electra Atlas Kyty Trandudum pertransiverat, & maxima Isis Fi urantaria atque Panifica, concessit ad nuptias Iasy sily Coritt, in habitaculum turrite Cibeles sporise Iasy in prelso Cybelario, ad soniem Cybelarium, Paulo post fabvadimonia palitia, & paulo post a scelerato fratre Dardans Iasius male peryt in agro Iasimello in Thersys, &c. And these be the very words used heretofore by authors of antiquitie.

By these therefore and by like semblable apparences it is cleared, that this Isis, their so reverently-adored goddesse, was now present at the consummation of the espousals of Iasius Ianigena, king of Italie and Fraunce, with the ladie Ipitis Cibeles, his wife. And that this Isis had travelled and journeied through many and diverse countries, it appeareth by many and severall pillars and stonie monuments erected in many countries of Europe in that behalle, as many authours doe produce.

Diodorus Siculus interreth, That in Aegypt shee caused her selfe a mightie and stately columne to be erected, wherein she caused also these words to bee insculped and inserted. Ego sum Isis Egypti Regina, a Mercurio erudita. Que ego leg bus Flatui, cullis soluet: ego sum Osyrides, ego sum prima frugum inventrix, ego sum Ori regis mater.  But to omit many other like authorities and approvements which might conduce to the clearer manifesting and unclouding of what was first proposed, wee will now goe forward with this royall mariage of Iasius, that we with more speed may attain to the complete accomplishment and effectuating of my purposed entendment.

This great king and ruler Iasius Ianigena had of this his wife Cibeles a sonne called Gerybanius, so that now there wanted not any terrene or earth-born delight or felicitie which might make this happie seeming potentate more fortunat, mightie, or contentfull, bu tit is a common humor of fortune, that amidst the thickest and most abundances of her graces and favours, shee in some angrie or fantasticke imagination, suddainely snatcheth away her so liberally bestowed gifts, and leaveth the late possessors therof involved and wrapt in a world of the miserablest unhappinesse and foule vexations that might be invented, as by the fatall successe and end of this kings life most plainely appeareth.

For when as Dardonus, his younger brother (a man indeed of proud heart, great courage, and inward ambition) saw his brother Iasuis this to float (as it were) on the calme seas of joyous prosperitie, and to tast of the sweet cup of Nectar, which Fortune oftentimes administreth unto her facourites, and thus to live famous in such abundant measure of grace and happinesse; hee infinitely repined and malliciously stomacked such the greatnesse and height of his power and authoritie, he beeing himselfe so suppressed and obscured by the spight of Fortune, and living privately and without commaund, as an inferiour or some base born person or slave.

These things of ten times revolving and studying within himselfe, he could not now any longer depresse or quench the overfurious heat of his aspiring spirit, but in a disdainefull scorning kind of fashion went unto his brother the king, to demaund leave and licence, That (upon some occasions of discontent pretended) he might depart out of the countrey to seeke out his better fortunes: which request Iasius refused to condiscend unto, and would by no meanes allow of his brothers purposes in that behalfe intended: whereupon Dardanus (taking it in great dislike and disparagement unto his greatnesse) began secretly to enter into deadly hostilitie with him, and to gather many factions and parties together on his side, which, by reason that he was exceedingly well beloved throughout most of those countries, grew to a great number and multitude of men, especially of those people then inhabiting on the other side of the river Tybre, which we called since the Latines, besides the countrey of Naples, Povilla, Calabria, and others thereabouts; all these conjoyned and consorted with the faction of Dardanus: and with Iasius, all those on this side of the Tybre, beeing them of Tuscania, Fraunce, and other particular provinces thereabouts.

At this bery time (as many writers doe deliver) happened in the world many uncouth, straunge, and wonderfull portents, as fearefull earthquakes, lightening, blazing comets, and ougly visions; as also throughout all Thessalie a generall overflow and deluge of waters, in another part of Greece, a strange combustion of houses and townes, and miserable effects of fire throughout most part of that countrey. In the same time also, Pharao king of Aegypt following Moyses and the children of Israel through the red sea, with all his armie perished and were overwhelmed with the churlish buffetings of the angrie and wrathfull billowes. All which signes and extraordinarie accidents did manifestly pretoken & prefigure the suddain approach of some great alteration of estates, and troubles of mightie kingdomes.

The fire of discontent and enmitie betweene the two brothers beeing thus wholly set on flame, and diverse artempts and meetings of wrath passed betweene them, it happened that Dardanus received the worst, and upon many encounters still was put unto his shifts, especially by the fresh supplie and aid which Siceleus, king of the isle of Sicilia, & the sixteenth king of Spain had them brought unto his brother Iasius: so that continually being weakened more and more both in numbers of men, and in the courages of them that staied, he was enforced for his own securitie to give over those such publicke meanes of oppression and revenge, and to betake his thought unto contriving and plotting of some more inward and therefore more daungerous stratagems. So that in the end (to avoid prolixitie and tedious circumstance) he so wrought that he awaited a time when the king his brother (then all sustectlesse of any intended mischeefe) went privately to a fountaine or spring to wash himselfe, which occasion and oportunitie so fairely presenting it selfe, Dardanius most traiterously and vilely murdered him. And upon that, not daring to adventure his stay, or to engage himselfe so far in those cases of perill, he presently tooke shipping in the enxt haven, and with all his jewels & what else riches portable, he could cary with him away, with many of his friends, followers, and servitors, he secretly and closely set saile and departed.

The right and noble and tres puissant king of Fraunce thus cruelly murdered by the bloudie hands of his owne naturall (though in that unnaturall) brother, in the fiftith year of his raigne and mightie governement, and in the fourscore and fourth yeare of his owne age; all the people and inhabitants thereabouts began mightily to bewaile his untimely and miserable end, which was before the foundation of Troy eight and twentie yeares or much thereabouts.  In generall deploration and laments of this kings death, not only Italy and France, but all parts of the world unto whome the shrill voiced  trumpet of Fame had sounded forth this report, conjoyned and bemoned together, for that hee kept peace and amitie [wuball] princess whatsoever, in all unitie, love and concord; and carried himselfe so upright and so wise in the trouble some managing of affaires belonging unto two kingdomes, that hee gained and woon unto him the hearts and affections of almost all people whatsoever.

After his death, his sonne Coribantus succeeded in the governement of the kingdome of Italie, but not Fraunce, so that the people
thereof were good while after without a cheefe ruler but in the end they chose and cloaked one that was nearest unto the linage and line of Hercules as they might, and his name was Allobrox [only] the ninteenth king therof. The which king afterward for the most part kept and remained at the foot of the mountaines Apendini, afronting upon Italie, and there commaunded even unto the hils Pyrenei (which divide the countrey of Spaine from France) and from the Mediterranean sea unto the maine Ocean, and unto the river Rhyne: and he there builded and erected many famous townes and citties, of which, some were those which were since called Piemont, Savoy, Proavnce, Daulphine, and others, and which people of very late times (if not at this day) were called Allobroges: and in this kings raigne was the farre-famed and mightie citie of Troy first built and erected.

To come unto the foundation of which, wee must here in these affaires pause and take a breath a while, and returne unto Dardanus, now on the sea tossed with uncertaine fortunes, and tempest-beaten indeed with overblowing and cruell winds, so that he remained in very great daunger and hazard to bee cast away and swallowed in the bast and mercilesse embra[eo]ments of the all wracking waters.  Engorced by these calamities, hee was glad to put in at an Island of the Ciclades, attending there the favourable smiles of Fortune, and the abatement of those horrible and tempestuous stormes. In the end hee put foorth againe, and recovered the sea Archipelagus, and went afterwards on shore in the Island in Greece called Samos or Samothrace, according to that which the poet Virgil in his eight booke of his AEneidos sayth: Aruvecules, ita serre senec hu orius in agris, Dardanius Ideas so grapenter outribabes, Tutkidamique Samam quaemunc Samothiens Seraut.

This island of Samos or Samothiacias is directly opposite unto the countrey of [Thrac] in Greece where Constantinople is erected, which heretofore abo[uted inall plenteous] maner with Vines, Olive trees; Grapes, and other such like fruit of most sorts; and in this countrey also was the learned and famous Philosopher: Magorus […, and orid] of the prophetesse called Sibels Sameos [… it is now] (the more to bee lamented) in the tyranous hands and possessions of the bloudie and barbarous Turke. In this countrey, Dardanus staied a good space before he laid the foundation of Troy, hoping yet to [beare] called home againe into Italie: but whome hee perceived that all hopes were frustrate that were [oulded] on such grounds, hee putteth himselfe foorth to seeke out as yet his further fortunes, which happened as here a free shall breefely be unfolded.

HerculesHesperidenApplesIt is to be understood, that on the other side of [the led] Hellesponte, which is called also the streights leading unto Constantinople, in the same continent of a countrey called Asia Minor, now called Natalia or Turkie and not far from the above written Island of Sarros, is a province called Lydia, which heretofore was called also Meania; [in] the which countrey, as also in those next [.i.d] neare adjoyning thereunto called Phrygia, raigned and governed at that time a prince called by the name of [..hius] the [npuat-] ger, of the same bloud and parentage as was Deodorus for (if it bee remembered) we long since spoke how Hercules of Lybia had a ladie to his wife called Omphale by whom hee begat a sonne called [?] the great, of which Athus, from discent to discent in foure generations came this Athus the young, king of Meonig and Pheygia and who had two sonnes also, the one called by the name of Lydus, the other Turthenus.

This king Athus, having now upon the arrivall of Dardonus great abundance of people in his countrey, by reason of fruitfull encreases and multiplications: and having also but small stone obvictuals and food in, hiw countrey to nourish and maintaine so populous a state, for want of which, great famines, pestilences, and other diseases arose in the countrey, knew not almost how to dispose of his people, or in what sort to remedie this mischeefe so that in the end hee was enforced by reason of that morall famine, to discharge many of his subjects out of the countrey to seeke out some new inhabitations and places of abode which thing also they wonderous willingly embraced as glad to be rid and quit of so [pentrious and starying] a place. Dardanus hearing and understanding of these proceedings, and in what necessities they stood in by meanes of the overaboundance of inhabitants presently made his repaire to king Athus, and there [desiced] of him, That since hee must needs send forth such people for the finding out of new places of habitations, that he would bestow the charge, conduct, and leading of them upon him, and that hee would joyne with them for the provisions and necessaries needfull and convenient for the setling of themselves in such their new place of abode, residence, and habitation.  This thing king Athus very willingly entertained, especially for that Dardanus was of his owne kindred and consanguinitie.

This request and desire of Dardanus thus obtained, hee knew no other meanes to require so great a favour, and to bee occasion to draw on further kindnesses, but to offer unto Athus, and utterly to resigne all his right, title, interrest, and claime in the kingdome of Italie for one of his sonnes, unto which of them the father pleased and was contented. This proser of Dardanus beeing well considered of by king Athus, was in the end thankefully accepted: in lieu and exchaunge whereof was allowed unto Dardanus a certaine quantitie and peece of ground in Phygia for him to build and erect a citie upon. And betweene the two brethren, Lydus and Turrhenus, lots were indifferent- [this page is clear, use these names if needed elsewhere] ly cast, which of them with a certaine number of people should set forward for Italie, and which should stay at home: for the deciding whereof, it feel unto Lydus to remain behind, and to be left inheritor unto that kingdome which afterwards of his name was called Lydia; and that Turrhenus should be presently dispatched away with his people to inhabite Italie, of whome afterwards also it was called by the name of Turrhena. These concenants and agreements concluded upon, Turrhenus setteth forward from Asia Minor (now called Turkie) in his journey for Italie; and Dardanus with his people and associats began now to build in Phrygia, and in short space fully finished and erected a citie, which he called after his own name Dardania: which was before the incarnation of Christ a thousand foure hundred fourescore and seven yeares, and before the building of Rome by Romulus foure hundred and seven and twentie yeares, and before the citie of Paris was erected threescore and tenne yeares, as Eusebius and most writers doe affirme.

On the other side Turrhenus is arrived in Italie, and presently repaireth unto the queene Cibelis, the widdow and [lase] wife to Iasius Ianigena, as before hath been declared, as also unto her sonne Coribansus king of Tuscania; and unto which [wo], hee brought and presented many costly and rich gifts from his father Athus king of Meonia: who also received them in all gracious and kind acceptance, and comming from their kinsman, and of the race and bloud of Hercules of Lybia. Turrhenus had not long remained hete, but that he was highly favoured of the king Coribantus, who now desirous to see and understand of the estate of his kinsman Dardanus, prepared presently to take in hand that so long and tedious journey, and ordained and instituted at home for the governement of his countrey, the order of the twelve Dukes, whereof Turrhenus was one; and so with a great troupe and companie of followers & friends he embarked for the cost of Phygia, to see the greatnesse of Dardanus, and the beautie and excellencie of his new [built] citie Dardania. After some tedious and troublesome travels in this boyage, at the last hee arrived at his wished and desired place, where with all manner of ceremonie he was joyfully entertained by Dardanus, whose reciprocall and mutuall love grew in the end to bee such, as hee resolved and tehre set downe his rest for ever to remaine, and not to returne againe into Italie, but sent word thether of his purposes, and commaunding them to create and establish [Iurrhenus] in his absence king and sole ruler over all that countrey.

In a few yeares Dardanus began to grow unto great mightinesse, riches, and power, who had also [reneight our praece,] of [ruightopu afance; wer-] thie, and fortunate, whose name was [Teriare] whereupon many writers [tell the] Pliny[gios] also […] Tirersraus was the […] which had also himselfe a very beautifull and faire daughter, which hee maried shortly after […] Dardanus and was called Batea, of whome Dardanius begot a sonne called […tho-] nius, who succeeded after him and […] the kingdome of [Bhrygia]. This [T…thonius in processe of time arose up unto a wonderfull greatnesse and large possessions, who (as many writers do affirme) [maybe] counted to bee one of the richest kings in those daies in that part of the world, who (as it is also said) had at the least three thousand horses of his owne continually feeding in his pastures. And this Ericthonius had also a sonne whom he named [Troi], whome after his death he left as successour and inheritour unto him and of whose name afterwards the Dodaimans were called Trojans. [Tersi thus having lost his sonne on this fashion studied [end page 51 of pdf – horrible!] upon revenge, and in t[he Thea]ne times conforted himselfe with his two oth[er son]nes, Ilus and Assaracus. And this Ilus called Troy after that Ilion; who begat a sonne named Laomedon, the father of the renowned Primus: and of Assaracus issued and came Auchises, AEntus father.

And the before written Tros ruled & commaunded there in great power and puisfance for the space of threescore yeares or neare thereabouts, as Archilochus in his booke of time alloadgeth. Laomedon, the sonne of king Ilus (as is beforesaid) after the death of his father tooke upon him the fule and gobernment of Troy, in the two hundred and two and twentieth yeare after the first foundation thereof by Dardanus, and hee had five sonnes and two daughters, which were these Priamus, Titenus, Lampus, Clytion, and Leteon, and of thes Homer in his Iliads maketh further mention: his daughters were Antigone and Hesione. The Greeke Poets (who indeed for teh most part are full of such like fables) doe say that the two gods Neptune and Apollo, for a certaine summe of money promised them by him, went with him about the circuit of the citie, and there erected wonderfull strong and most huge high wals round about the same: the which wals afterwards finished accordingly, and no money received nor to bee got, Apollo in great rage and anger infected the citie with a deadly and generall pestilence; and Neptune in token of his wrath and displeasure also, sent a monster of the sea among them, unto which, they must every day give the throw of a young child, or els that they all should perish and bee devoured by the ravenous maw and hunger thereof; and that in the end it happened upon the daughter of […] called [Hestious]

But it is most [ertaime,] that for the most part all those Greek Workers have [erted] infinitely and have delivered many most unlikely hystories.

For this [Hertis] as hath been before spoken was a notible and famous py[are]; and hee slew [Lomidon] by arecherie, and surprised Troy on a [soddame] and unawares, and also hee was a common ravisher of m[aidens] as of [Hesione, Meden, and others, as Mongehus, Thanese Aomus,] and Iacques de Bergame have written and very plainely approved the same. Lamedon beeing slaine, Tilonus succeeded next after him but he being of anotehr disposition, resigned his interes[bi]herain, and betooke himself to travell into straunge countries, even unto the Indies, where (according to Diodorus Siculus) hee maried a ladie called Ida, and (as the Poets write) Aurora of whome hee afterwards had a sonne called Memmon, who long after came unto the succour of Priaeus in his cheefest [waries,] and was there slaine by the hand of Achilles. In the absence therefore of his brother Tythor, Pria[…] him the government and charge of that kingdome, being second son unto Laomedon their father who in short time came to be one of the greatest and most famous princes of the world, for it is written, that he was [wondrous] wise, discreet, and valiant, and [matcht] his children (which persons of great [sorc], worth, and dignitie. And for to make him at the first the stronger end that he might have time to [recdisie] his late spoyled and fire perished citie, he entered into alliance and fast kindred with a very mightie and powerfull prince neare adjoyning upon [hired upon,] who was called by the name of Cypseus, or (as some hold) Dymas, king and sole commaunder of Thrace, which is a province in Greece on this side of the sea Hellespont, whereof the cheefe cittie is at this day Constantinople: and with this Cypssus or Dymas his daughter, called Crcuba, hee maried: a ladie accomplisht with all exteriour graces and inward vertuous dispositions, at which espousals of Priamus and Hicuba, great ceremonies and signes
of joyfulnesse were showne foorth and observed and of this ladie it is writ, taht he begot nineteen children male and female and of other women and concubines which he dayly kept and maintained in his pallace (according to the fashions and usances in those daies) hee had one and thirtie more, so that onely nineteene of his fiftie sonnes and daughters were legitimate and fully begotten; the rest bastards and illegitimate. The [Prisoylus] in all had so many children (which indeed hee publickely  [the achieved] and [shanednos to achnowledge) Virgil also in the sevond booke of his AEneidos thus sayth Quanyaginto isis th hami spis tanip tlepotum. And Homer likewise in the last booke of his Illiad most plainely seemeth to confirm the same.

Troy now thus most fallantly flourishing newly fortified, repaited, enlarged, enriched, enpeopled & throughly provided and stored of all manner of things which might bee necessarie either for the use of [fatallqares] and open [to sullities], or for the conservation of peace and dimesticke tranquillitie, began to affirme unto her selfe a mighty and florious selfe conceit and strong opinion of her owne power, height, and magnificence, assuring herselfe of all victorious prevailements over her enemies whatsoever, and of a never failing prosperitie florie and felicitie: and yet it is not writ, that Priamus himselfe was puft up with any more extraordinarie pride or insolencie than [hee …] the greatnesse of so puistarita prince. It is writ also that in the times of his greatest power, he was forewarned by certaine Oracles and flase gods which they used to worship in those daies, that so long as hee did preserve and safegard three things belonging unto the cittie, the towne should bee unexpagnable and never to bee lost as Servius and Boccace have written of the [same] the things were these, The image of Pallas called [Paladitten, preferred] undefaced, The sepulchre or tombe of Laogadon which was under the great gate Scea, kept undespoiled & whole, and so long as the life of Trojlus lasted and did endure.

Priamus therefore very carefull to keep these three tings with all diligentnesse and heed, lived in the greatest pompe, delicacie, and state that ever any prince in the world in those times did or could: so that he seemed not onely to bee king of Phrygia, but also cheefe dominator and emperour of all Asia, now called Natalia {PP: Anatolia!} or Turkie: and hee was called also in those times, The king of kings, as Strabo in the thirteenth booke of his Geographie, to the same purpose thus sayth: Priamus magno ex parvo, & Rex Regum effectus. And these his powers and authorities not onely extended and stretcht themselves abroad throughout the maine continent and same lands of all those countries thereabout round, but in the end shewed themselves also and sossessed their maister of many famous and great Islands lyin gfarre in within the bosome and embracement of the uncivile and rude behaviored sea; as the Island of Terredos, and the Island of Merclyn, were subject and vassalized unto the governement of his imperious principallitie, paying him yearely tributes, taxes, and impositions; and many others also of great fame adjoyning neare thereabout: so that the infinite emperour Priamus, possessed all the princes and rulers of countries neare that way, with astonished admiration and wonderous maze of his so suddaine and unexpected puissancie. And thereupon sent and dispatched [rheffen-] gers from all quarters to crave his amitie, friendship, and to be in league with him, as also to bee nearer allied unto him in some matches and marriages of their children on both sides; by reason whereof, Priamus matched his children with great houses, and of great power and possessions: First hee married [… of him legitimate and] lawfully begotten daughters […] of great meanes named AEnna; [labierfornad of …] bhises & his daughter Asyoche, hee matched with one Telcphus a mightie king of Mysia and his sonne Hector joyned in [matrimonich] Ardramacha, the faire daughter of Ection, the powerfull and famous king of Thebes and Silicia: and Polydamas, one of the sonnes of Anthenor, married with one of [..ianus] daughters, (beeing a bastard, and begotten of one of his concubines) beeing of an excellent and singular beautie, called Lycaila. So also manie others of his children were linked and joyned in marriages with men of great rule, power and commaund in those dayes; the posteritie of which, and of their deedes and mightinesse, hereafter in [in some other place and oportunities] occasion may bee presented further to speake of [it] and for this time (beeing indeed forced by an extraordinarie occasion) I must [thus for the suddine ubruptly] breake of; desiring and wanting very earestly that if this small peece of paines of [muse] shall determine ever to bee publickely impressed (which [saying] behind mee, it will not be in my power to prevent) it may indifferently passe uncensured, till the [resume] of his fortune beaten fatehr may aunswere for the inocencie of the child, and bee able a little better to protect him in his afflictions.
And thus it hath beene with great care and diligence laboured to find out the truest Hystorians for the deriving of Dardanus, and consequently this king [Br…] from the race and kine of the first prince and Patriarke Noe, with the particular successions of kings and emperours of Europe, as hath beene warranted by the authorities and writings of very learned and authenticke authours.

    1. I’ll check into it. But the author is upholding the OVER-dating of Plato, even though it was merely 1 thousand years before Plato’s time judging by the dates of the early Greek kings. Thanks anyway. Interesting. But remember it is not found yet! It is merely a theory! Cheers.

  2. I enjoy reading your articles, but wasn’t the Nile River formed by melting glaciers? And if it did exist during the glacial max, I’d imagine it being nothing more than a stream sloping down into the Mediterranean. What do you think?

    1. Hi Kurt. Thanks for your comment. Where did you find the Nile river in the above article? I either forgot or couldn’t find it. Anyhow, I am of the opinion that the Nile river before 1500 BC was much bigger, wider, with more water, due to the copious rains of the 2200-1500 BC unique Ice Age, due to greater evaporation of the 10 degree C. hotter ocean temperature after the 2400 BC Flood. That’s when the Saharan, Sinai, & Saudi and other Middle Eastern ‘wadis’ (dry riverbeds) of today were still rivers when the desert was lush cattle-grazing grassland, until the Climate Change came and dried it all up by 1200 BC, causing the Bronze Age Collapse. See our article on that and the seed & pollen research of Israel Finkelstein HERE.

      1. Thank you for the reply! No, you didn’t mention the Nile in the above article. But I remember Ken Ham’s website stating that the Ice Age ended before Abraham’s birth because he claims that it was the melting glaciers that formed the Nile.
Also, the reason I imagine the Nile during that time moved rapidly northward was because the Mediterranean Sea was shallower. Hope to hear more from you. Take care and God bless.

      2. OK, that’s why. I see. Yeah I forgot to think of that lower ocean level, good point. Shows you how mainstream Darwinian “historians” are! No? They have no clue whatsoever so handicapped by the paralytic paradigm. We need a revolution! But don’t count on it.
        GBY too! Thanks
PS: I don’t have a very high opinion of Ken Ham. He is a compromiser for reputation. He denies for example that the Smithsonians were/are covering up the giant skeletons, and that the newspaper articles of the 19 hundreds were all hoaxes. Even the New York Times! It’s just “Fear of the opinions of man!” What a trap!

  3. Great article!
Please, I’d like you to help me understanding something:
If the red-haired giants like Atlas used to travel to measure the world, then why they turned tyranic? Or were the red-giants pirates other group?
Who were the pirates and the red-haired giants who came first to America for example?
Who were the giants in america the amerindias fought against
I’ve read many articles but couldn’t understand this things…
